Ride-a-long on a 1/8 scale passenger route at Train Mountain's 2023 Operations Meet

At the Train Mountain Operations Meet, members can use their ride-on trains to simulate a passenger route. They have a schedule to meet and passengers to pick up and drop off. It isn't as easy as it looks!

That was a mistake I would never make. I mean it would make sense that some passengers you pick up have to be dropped of at maybe the next station, or just a few stations further down the route.
I think her mistake started where she just put the ones she picked up in the back of the stack instead of putting them in order of the stations on their route. But that was also his mistake, he didn't tell her when she asked him about it.

Yes, that makes sense. The thing to remember, though, is that we all do a little worse under pressure. They had to keep a schedule. Even if you are on-time, there's always that pressure: Don't take too long! Hurry! Also, they were stopping to do their passenger stuff on the mainline (usually). So every minute you sit there could be a chance for you to be holding up a freight train that is also trying to hurry (see th-cam.com/video/Y7n4R7DRBcY/w-d-xo.html).

I suspect the passenger cards are having too many technical terms and not so intuitive

The woman is way too nervous and stressful to do this job. Being high-strung and stressed only creates mistakes.
