I thank joao gilberto for his music because it calms my mood from being super angry to being extremely relaxed. Everyone who is here is because we value the talent of a good person. I admire joao gilberto for his talent.

His voice is gentle.
I went to Brasil in 1965 after their dictatorship ended. How great it was that i arrived soon after. I went down with my Dad's job with the State Departmeent. The next seven years had consumed all of my life interests. Oh how i love Meu Brazil ! Ever since i haven't been able to fall asleep without my Btasilian Bosa Nova Jaz. Meu Corasao e sempre do Brasil.
The brazilian military dictatorship began in 1964 and ended in 1985

I sleep to this every night. Thank you so much for creating such a therapeutic playlist without ads
The lack of vibrato in his voice, keeps your attention on the music, and not on him.
It's a generous way of singing.
Simplesmente!
researching Brazilian music for a Rio musical, i'm adoring this genre so far!
This song was played during one of the happiest memories in my life. Man, I miss my friends. 6/30/22 and 8/7/22
The first is so beautiful....Why does this song bring such tears of joy? Singing to my heart...wow, powerful.
LOVE me some Stan Getz/Joao Gilberto/Tom Jobim et al. and Bossa Nova/Tropicalia!! 🎶💞 I've loved it since I was 7 or 8, hearing my father's records. It's more powerful than any modern pharmaceuticals!
Lazy and hazy summer days and this music is on 👍❤️

É a genialidade
That,s the power of músic,it brings everyone together, and its doesn,t matter wich country you live in!
This is the kind of music I have been looking for. Outstanding!!
Music is so truly the World's Universal Language. Bossa Nova exemplifies this truth sensually. I love it so very much
My God!!! that is real music. 🇵🇷
Es una musica pegajosa q aynque no sepa hablar bracileño o portugesse I LOVE IT
Man,that opening track! Joao gets the groove going so strong and yet so effortlessly. A lesser musician would be it to death, monotonously so. Gilberto stokes it like a low flame, making it simmer so wonderfully. "Less is more" never sounded so good! My favorite "get up and get going" track, always convinces me that I-we-can make it,after all.
The opening track is fantastic, almost hypnotic 😀

The opening track is called "Eu vim da Bahia" and YES, IT IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS EVER MADE
Hi, Mr. Charles Davis: Love your positivity. Brazilian Bossa Nova IS magical, and I am so glad the world received the gift of Joao Gilberto's very beautiful music.
Merry Christmas ALL.
It feels like the singer is whispering in my ears..
Bossa Nova é cura!
Bossa Nova is healing!
I am brazilian and I also feel this magic that people are talking about here. Yes, Bossa Nova is a healing music, also for us in Brasil. We love it everywhere. I am a musician and I can tell how delicious is to play and sing it! Greetings from Rio de Janeiro!
i think what makes this music so relaxing to me is that it reminds me of both chaos and control
Exactly like the waves ;)
João Giberto para todos os momentos!!! Preciosidades brasileiras! .
A music of all life's comfort ! Love Brazil and this Brazilian jazz , it doesn't get any better than that , it puts you in a great mood for the rest of the day !👍👍
