Dude you found a Cabled planet with droid animals... thats super rare.
The Cabled planet is one of like 8 kinds of Reality Glitch planets that are weird like that, and they usually only have 1 kind of animal that resembles the other weird looking stuff. Its super rare for there to be anything else on that kind of planet, let alone droid animals... which are rare in themselves.
You can collect Reality Glitches on those planets. One type of asset on that planet can be picked up, and you can place it down anywhere to decorate a base or freighter. They show up as a yellow '?' in the scanner but they also stick out in some way. Something will be a little different and it will be easier to just see them after a while. For example, the cabled planet, its one of those weird sculpture things but it has a blue light.
You looked right at one and tried to scan it but they don't scan... another way to spot them from far away.

For water places like that you’ll need a mech suit it makes water exploration much better especially when you give it guns and what not
Loving the videos. Literally just one note, you are travelling to different "start systems" not "galaxies". The whole thing you are seeing when you open the galaxy map with all those stars , that is the one galaxy you are in. Each time you warp you are warping to a new star system.

Yeah, you've discovered new star systems only and they're all in Euclid galaxy, which is where everyone starts.
Jumping to a new galaxy comes later, and was the original 'end' of the game.
Its just so big.. its near impossible to comprehend. 99% of players never leave Euclid. They never even leave the sector of Euclid they are in. If every player got together and spent every day jumping system to system, none of us who started would live to see 100% discovered.
forgot to mention in my one reply ,but, don't forget ,when you expand your shit/ship/etc you can choose the square it unlocks....
mentioning because I was 60 hrs into the Gane before I realized I could place them where I wanted cuz the module buffs you get from placing stuff properly can make a big difference.

This takes me back to my first days playing this game! So much fun watching someone enjoy it as much as I did at the start. I still enjoy it quite a lot but there's nothing like your first playthrough experience with the new discoveries :)
Bro you can all save sooo much time if you scan the plants and rocks on planet then jump in your ships and shoot the ground at close range it will get you 20x times as much as your mining layer in like 2 minutes

Use your log for mineral locations and recipes. Also scan the planets surface to locate multiple items

This game is so amazing that after 7 years of playing i recently got to the galaxy core and finish the story warp into new galwxy but i keep coming back to euclid galaxy 😂

You gotta keep that analyzer on go pretty much nonstop on new planets. Its free units for the discoveries and then you upload the discoveries for nanites. Later upgrades to your multi-tool will give you more units for your scan analyses..
also you should use the smaller size terrain manipulater for resource mining..its nets a larger yield.

I recently got the game and I remember that I wanted to refund the game because the beginning was meh, but the refund failed, so I decided to try it out, and as soon as I repaired the first place and flew off, I was glad it didn’t work
Way better now. You need more space in your inventory, easy access expansion slots at the space stations, and also make a roamer geobay vehicle and put 3 radars in it to scan for drop pods to unlock more inventory space.
you get more materials when you scan items with your visor to get some money too.

If you put some storage containers on your fraghter and call it in close to you you can access the cargo container on the ship for some storage
I know this is a 2-week-old video but when you go to any deposits scan it real quick, so you're able to see the whole deposit chuck. :) *Edit* You're also able to change the Size of the beam from the terrain manipulator, so you take bigger chucks while mining...
Bro, if you can post a picture of the glyphs of the planet you're on the next time you play the game, I can maybe join you one day. Just go to picture mode, you'll find a bunch of glyphs at the bottom left side of the screen. Show that to a veteran of the game and they use that to visit your planet.
when you get indium drive you can dismantle cadmium and emeril drives you only need the v3 atlas pass to open all the pass doors and supplies
read the description of items to find out what it's for, and upload all your discoveries before someone else does.
You have more than enough time to grab all 3 crystal sulphate because it takes a while before the vent erupts
its always cool to see someone to experience things in nms for the first time or learn mechanics. Nice video!

Need a new multi tool so you can utilize the upgrade bonus when it’s placed next to the installed part ie mining upgrades next to the mining laser
Use the smaller beam when mining minerals, you get more resources
I like the idea of you playing with friends, but you should all do a mission together not just do individual things and not interact. Go to the Nexus and do a couple of missions together.
When looking for land on water planets fly out of orbit you can travel faster also yo need to scan resources to unlock the ones with two resources in your missing out on materials

You only need the iridium drive to go to all three coloured systmes
Be careful when buying a new ship, I just lost a lot of expensive and rare resources even though I said transfer items
i did something similar as well. if you didn’t ‘trade in’ your old ship for the new one; you should be able to summon your old ship at your base. if you do- the inventory that was in that ship will still be there. transferring everything over to the new ship was a pain though because i had to do it manually!

There are so many flaws, bugs and shorfalls with No Man's Sky.
But its such a good game that it doesn't even matter. Especially when you are first getting into it. No Mans Sky and RDR2 have ruined gaming for me... because those 2 games have moved the goalposts so far and nobody else can seem to come close.
The potential No Mans Sky represents is mindblowing... cus computers are just gonna get bigger and faster and eventually an even more complex and dynamic procedurally generated little universe in a box will be possible.
