I have had the same problem with the corner garage, what I've done with mine is turned it into a central marketplace for my Asian district and increased the height. What I would recommend is to convert it into a coffee shop or restaurant with outdoor dining

Just an idea with the corner garage : i suppressed the garage and put the central perk on the ground floor. It works pretty well.
oh wow that's a cool idea!! I've been meaning to integrate the central perk set somehow into the city ....
