And it's just one example of Emma's delightful, gracious, down-to-earth speech-style. She deserves to win every award she is nominated for, just so she can delight with her perfect speeches. And when we look at the list of nominees for Oscar 93 for best actress, we see how absurd that snub was, because although they were excellent, none of the nominees that year performed better than Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct and that even includes own Oscar winner who was Emma Thompson.

She was good but Vanessa Redgrave lit up the screen and she was only in a few scenes.
Sharon Stone should have won this award, no one could play her role in this movie. She is the best vixen of all time.
