What’s interesting is that we can choose which character to fight these bosses with, which will presumably change the cutscenes, dialogue etc. Making the main story very replayable

Yep! I really hope that’s the case, that was my one issue games like fallen order , great story but no replayability. If they make it so that every character has slightly different scenes and maybe even outcomes it would be amazing
I just really hope it's impactful changes and not just barely any of them like it often happens
Maybe they may restrict certain bosses for specific characters.
Or it could like assassins creed odyssey where it was still the same cutscene if you were male or female

@@ultrabigfella He was only in Arkham City (well technically Asylum too as an easter egg) and we barely saw him, he had a great boss fight though and I like how they used him as a decoy Joker.

I’m so glad we finally get to see the villains. We knew Freeze was gonna be here, but now we know Clayface and Harley are here as well. They all look very cool and I’m glad to see Harley back in a villain role again.

@Maiswsh this isn't an Arkham game, it has no ties to those games whatsoever. It's a whole new take on the Batfamily, whole new game, different graphics and everything. So can we just enjoy the game for what its trying to do without constantly comparing it to Arkham?

@Maiswsh graphics isn't everything when it comes to games, yes realistic graphics help makes the game visually beautiful but it doesn't dictate the game as a whole. Plus I highly doubt WB games montreal were disrespecting the fans when they choose a more cartoon-esque style for Gotham Knights. All I'm saying here is just the game a chance before destroying it and let it stand on its own without comparing it to something else.

@@tylerwilson3507 Nah mate you're just defending this game. I feel yah. However, as an old time fan of arkham games i'd say Rocksteady did a pretty good job making an immersive batman game. They even made the best of the bunch which is batman arkham city. I know this isn't an "Arkham" game but still it is a "Gotham" game what's the difference between the two? Of course only the name but still the same thing. I understand that they went to a different path in terms of giving it a rpg element but still. Personally, i hate the combat system. The fact that you're just dodging than countering feels like a batman skin mod of insomniac's spiderman.
I hope we will see more villains like Killer Croc or Zsaz.

Damn, this Harley seems less crazy and more like a serious Psychopath... I'm actually looking forward for this, finally a decent trailer.

@@vonnstevens2502 yes and no from my opinion. Previous Harley versions just crazy and sometimes dumb as hell. This Harley looks like a real psychopath with a plan. Almost like the Dark Knight Heath Leadger Joker.

Tbh I'm kinda glad they went with someone else. Aside from just further separating it from the Arkham games and giving new, lesser known names a chance at these roles, I never liked Strong as Harley

I like this Harley Quinn's voice, it seems like since she was left by "Mr. J" she changed to be "saner" if you know what I mean, kinda sounds like Injustice 1 Harley Quinn before she reunited with Joker.

I really love the concept of this. All the villains, the big detailed open world city, the 4 playable characters. It’s great!
I wish Batman were in it. If he doesn’t return in the campaign, and truly is dead, they should make a prequel DLC with Batman in this Gotham and make him playable - just because I’d like to enjoy the Bat as well in this gorgeous city fighting these enemies on PS5!
I don’t think Joker’s in this either… so perhaps they ended up killing each other in this universe.

@@jazelgalaviz9450 I remember Killer Moth mentioned being taken down by Red Hood in the Black Mask DLC, but Firefly was a secondary villain in Arkham Knight. Also, I remember Ratcatcher and Tweedledum and Tweedledee being killed by Red Hood in the comics, but Firefly got only beaten by him.

So far most of the bosses seem like you just fight in a big open space, sometimes also fighting thugs. I hope they aren't all like that. I want some variety in the boss fights.

I'm fine with her in the Suicide Squad game cuz it's Tara Strong, she's not a villain so she's actually funny and fun to use, and she looks great. But I didn't really want her in this game. I don't want another Harley Quinn villain to go against especially with a worse voice actor and a bad design.

As much as I love me some Mr. Freeze and Clayface (and the addition of the Court of Owls), I really wish they would adapt some new villains the mainstream hasn't been exposed to as much. Its the same cluster again and again. Enough of Harley. Adapt some new characters. Killer Moth? Ventriloquist? Count Vertigo? Maxie Zeus? Anarky? There are lots you know...
Yeah, to my knowledge Anarky has only been in one game (Arkham Origins), it would be nice if they brought him back. Glad they're doing the Court as the main Villains (most people who don't read comics have no idea who the Court is), also I just love the concept of it as Villains. I'd also love to see Maxie Zeus in this, lot's of cool potential with that. Ventriloquist/Scarface has been hinted at, mentioned, and been an easter egg all throughout the Arkham series, but I think it's finally time we get the spotlight on em.
