What's confusing is how Red Hood looks like a guy in his late thirties while nightwing looks as if he is stil in his early/mid twenties at most.
That's because Nightwing ages well I guess in comics he looked like that too.
I think that's cuz of the Lazarus Pit, it's said that each time u use it that while also making u younger it makes you look older (look at what Batman said about Ra's in Arkham City, he'd just popped out of there and still looked old asf) but as this is a different universe maybe the effects were different?
Still doesn't excuse the shitty character design however
@AZiO we know that red hood died since the Lazarus pit gave him powers, but it wasn't confirmed how he died yet.

While I don’t like his mystic abilities, he’s still the character I’m looking forward to playing as most. He’s my second favorite superhero after Batman so I’m pretty excited to free roam as him for once
It would make sense though he got mystic abilities out of the Lazarus pit for once rather than just him turning out crazy at first.
He’s not really a superhero, more of an anti-hero, plus he was a crime-lord when he came back from the dead
He isn't at par with other heroes/villains who specializes in magic, only using it is as a crutch to get things done
@@meijimarts111 he never really had any magical abilitie. I mean the Lazarus pit did give him lots of strength bc he used his two legs to launch Bane from the neck through a forest. Red hood went on venom, had a kryptonite exosuit, and was even able to break Supergirl’s grip which very few people can do.

@@GlockJ we don’t really know yet the reveal trailer says something like Wayne Manor collapsed and they pulled Bruce’s body from the wreckage the devs said we will see how he dies In the first 10 minutes of the game but they hid it in the first 16 minutes of gameplay they released the other day so Batman might be playable 👀
In all honesty, Jason's voice is giving me chills right about now. He looks like he's gonna solo any of the thugs in the game. I feel like he'll bring that brutality and that brute strength that might compliment/contrast the rest of the batfamily's fighting styles.

Ah, the “No kill” rule is in play, but I love they did not lessen the brutality of Jason’s fighting style. Now that I think about it, he has the most in common with the Talons, despite Dick Greyson’s ancestor having a place in their ranks. It’s not everyone that gets to come back from the dead, stronger, more vengeful, less pitying from the experience. I prefer Spawn myself but now that we have all four playable characters introduced, it will be interesting to see how custom we can make their skill sets, armor, and where their stories diverge. (Shout out to NR studios and Keith David for helping me realize my love for Venom’s antihero offshoot with MK11.)

THAT WAS AWESOME!! Red Hood's combat looks much better than before, especially when he powers up and uses this magic bullet ability when he's in his Year One suit. Can't wait to see what else he can do when I play it when it comes out!

I'm still not sure about the whole soul jump thing. But if the combat becomes fun and fluid then this will be an instant winner.
Thinking about it further, Jason has the most in common with the Talons: brought back to life by unnatural means, hardened and pitiless for the experience. This unknown “soul power” may be a nod to that fact. I hope we get more explanation and more fluid gameplay as a result.

As much as I love Red Hood and am excited for him, I'm also skeptical about the game as a whole. Idk if it's just me but it seems... unpolished, in some areas. Like it has potential to be great but something about it is off. I really hope we get to have a playable demo that introduces a wide area of things, maybe the first few hours or so, before purchasing. It would give us nice feel for it to see if it's worth buying.

I don't mind him having powers so much, but... really. Could they not have come up with a better traversal mechanic than just, idk, big jumps? Like the rope launcher from the Arkham games.
Everyone has a grappling hook, and a unique traversal mechanic as well
@spartanB0292 The second gameplay trailer with him and Nightwing showed a grappling hook in it, and again with the Batgirl demo. It doesnt seem like it'll work like the Arkham games in the sense that it will have them be able to soar heights and glide but we'll have to wait and see.

I know people have their opinions on red hood's mystic abilities and yeah it is really weird especially since the bat family is known for not having any super powers. In my opinion tho, for people who don't like it, take advantage of the fact it is a controllable video game and just don't use it if it breaks your experience. This is assuming that it is not a mandatory ability you have to use when beating certain types of enemies of course

@@sticky.9986 I think it's cool he has mystic abilities, it's refreshing than just going off gadgets like the rest of the bat family. I just wish instead of bouncing around he could do a magic wall run and perhaps run in the air for a second or two to then traverse onto another wall. Sort of like Assassin's Creed style.

Every time I scroll past this thumbnail I see Deadpool.
Instead of Red Hood having the mystical jump and mystical shot he instead has a power called "mystical healing". When Red Hood isn't under attack by enemies he slowly gains a bit of health. As the player progresses throughout the game you can make the ability stronger.
