Best pizza slice I have ever had that was not made by my own hands. It's quite possibly the best in Toronto. I waited an hour in line to get in to place my order and for that very reason, I will not be back -- except when pre-ordering an entire pizza in order to bypass waiting in line for an hour.
I paused the video the moment he said that. I've lived here for 25 years, and I'm trying to remember at time when you weren't able to just crab a quick slice and I can't.
I Had a pepperoni pizza here last year...IT was the absolute best ever...BUT today I ordered the sane pepperoni pizza and there was NO TASTE....The pepperoni was soggy...NOT CRISPY. What Happened.
Toronto/Canada will always have crappy pizza why cuz we have crappy cheese and we cant import cheese from USA due to high tariffs. In USA all good pizzerias use Grande Cheese and some use Polly-O so as much as this guy thinks Toronto has "great" pizza it doesn't its garbage pizza. Up until recently Canada also had crappy sauce but now they are using Stanislaus or Bianco dinapoli - California tomatoes so at least the sauce has improved but without good cheese pizza will always be crap which it is Canada!!
Most of what you said is not true at all. You can get both really good and really bad cheese form the US. Making the statement that it's better than Canadian cheese is just wrong though. Canadian dairy actually adheres to a far stricter set of rules and laws (e.g no hormones, no antibiotics etc.). As for tomatoes, the best don't come from California. They do in fact come from Italy and most of Europe. Hell, I'm not even sure tomatoes grown in the US are better than Canada's. Case in point: while shopping at a Florida Trader Joe's, they were selling Ontario tomatoes that were amazing.
This is the best slice I've had in Toronto. Most of the pizza is Toronto is pretty average, but these guys know what they're doing
Best pizza in TO. By far.

Exactly. Well said
American “cheese” isn’t even considered cheese anywhere else in the world. Canadian dairy is also kept at a higher standard than the US.
