    I was lucky enough to catch the first Blizzard Of Ozz UK tour at Hull City Hall. I stood right up against the stage in front of Randy with his polka dot Flying V.

    We all wish we had a guy like Bob in our band. When you add Lee in the mix no wonder those albums were-
    and still are til this day awesome. As a young guitar player Randy really got catapulted into stardom on the shoulders of these guys.
    These were true pros in Ozzy's band. Guys with multi talent not just I play bass and he plays drums. No, true song writers.

    • @aleisterbroley900
      @aleisterbroley900 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thank you!!
      Too many assume that Randy, being an innovative and legendary guitarist, would've just walked in with these riffs and progressions fully formed and arranged, but Bob co-wrote and worked out those tunes, along with input and even some melodies from Lee.
      Bob is the man, and Ozzy would be a footnote in Sabbath's career if not for him, imho.

      @@aleisterbroley900 you're welcome. People need to learn their history behind a lot of the players we love. We just might be surprised at what we find. Or who we find.

    Bob, you're a class act and true talent in the world of rock bass and lyric writing! You've added so much to the world of music that's compelling and a great listen. I really liked your mention of the comeback of vinyl, being a record store owner here in N. Calif. I waited 3 hrs. in cold and rain to have Ozzy sign his book I Am Ozzy, but I wish it had been you with your book For Facts' Sake, which is a much better read. Cheers, mate, and keep on truckin'!

    The end fade out of “Little Dolls” had some of the tastiest bass fills around. Classic Bob Daisley. He’s one of my biggest bass influences. I had hoped that at some point he would do video lessons for the first Blizzard and Diary albums but he said that didn’t seem likely. Too bad, as there are still licks that I would love to see how he played them. Thank you for this wonderful interview.

      As badly as he's pissed off Sharon, he probably gets a copyright strike just playing the songs on his bass in his own living room lol

    And those that haven't read bobs book its amazing read and its got color pictures with the highest Quality paper. A very in depth explanation for all the people he played with very detailed extremely impressive for someone that wrote a book him self he went all out to nothing but the naked truth theres pictures that prove his story as well the ozzy camp made up lies but this book exposes that.
