The utterly unbelievable life this guy has had, a lot of those classic rock legends only really played in one or two bands, but this guy has played with EVERYONE, talk about someone you'd love to go for a pint with
thanks so much for these interviews bob daisley is a great bass player and ive wanted to know about his experiences with all these musicians for years ...
Bob is a legend lets face it him and Randy wrote blizzard of oz with the vocal melody's coming from Ozzy.Diary the best Ozzy album ever, not forgetting lee Kerslake wrote the lyrics to the song diary of a madman.Bob writing lyrics to bark,u sin,no rest and no more tears, just wished Randy would have lived they would have done another album with Bob and Tommy Aldridge. And yes Jake E Lee was amazing way better than Zack,sorry............
So good hearing Bob tell this story of the Blizzard of OZZ..Bob has a way of spinning a tale in such a entertaining and interesting fashion..He seems so funny and down to earth
Bob seems so humble and is a regular (bloke)... As they say..those demos with Ray on vocals r on the rerelease of eternal idol..so cool that someone finally give Gary Moore respect... Def in the top of players....
A massive blizzard fan as an Aussie teen, I had no idea until just recently that Bob was actually from here, I only found out the other night while drinking by the pool and meandering the Tube. For some reason I feel a sort of connection even more so now to that now classic album. Anyhow after all that bullshit, thank you from Darwin NT.
*Bob Daisley wrote nearly all the lyrics on 5 of the first 6 Ozzy solo albums and played on 5 of the first 6 solo albums, and toured on BATM.* He wrote and played on all 6 except he did not play on Ultimate Sin and did not write lyrics on No More Tears album. *Bob (and Randy/Jake/Zak) made Ozzy's career.*
I heard that Mr. Daisley has recordings of Blizzard of Oz that have never been heard by anybody. I wish he was a mate of mine, we would listen to them.
Plays fine for me and I have a slow connection. Hint: As soon as it starts, pause it and let it load at least halfway before you start watching. Works like a charm:)
Umm.. "black & white iz read".. good on ya Bobby, God blessed ya & may He continue.. thanx so much. Gotsta go see what the media iz selling & live the role eh?
I GOT TO KNOW: why he kept helping ozzy write material up untill 91' ? i mean they didnt even give him writing credit on the 1st 2albums , WHY didnt he make a big stink, Because back then we ALL thought ozzy was amazing for his composing,! wish we woulda heard he didnt ,we were mislead. i guess Bob did get paid initially, just not millions in royalties!

Bob Daisley, Lee Kerslake, Randy Rhoads and Ozzy were absolute MAGIC. The original Blizzard of Ozz will never be equaled. Thanks Bob.
BOB DAISLEY IS A LEGEND
`Gary Moore, jack of all trades master of them ALL`, as Bob say`s `Gary could play in many styles` R.I.P Gary, you were amazing
Total agree. Jake E Lee, is an amazing guitar player. So underated. Bark at the Moon, i think is one of the best Ozzy albums ever made.

Great interview! Feel very fortunate to be a fly on the wall! BD always Rock solid👍🥇
The name of the band was The Blizzard Of Ozz. You can find promo pics and ticket stubs with that name on them.

Great bassist and lyricist. A big part of the Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman albums to name but 2 of Ozzy's albums where Bob had major input.
Bob is really down to earth, straight shooter, best buddy guy you can find :)
Bob - one of the greats!
A very articulate man in all of his interviews.
no surprise the way he wrote lyrics
hi Bob, always great to hear you speak of RR...
absolutely he seems so sincere in the legacy of that band and Randy
Icon. What a wonderful soul. Love ya Bob! Rock on!
The version of Rainbow with Bob was great. Its a shame Ronnie & Ritchie fell out because I would have liked to see more from this lineup
Huge Bob fan....amazing writer and player.
Great interviews, part I/II.❤
Love Bob Daisley thank you for sharing these pricless stories
great stories from a legendary bassist!

2.12 shows how great Ozzy was at deciding on issues musical. It wasn't luck or providence Ozzy knew Daisley was worth backing. The rest is history.
Great interviews.
Very good interviews.
fully agreement - power of the blues - a superb one

@OZZFEST1996 Bark at the Moon, And The Ultimate Sin... Then after leaving Ozzy he did 3 albums with Badlands, and then another 3 as a solo artist.

The story about the strip club on his birthday almost made me spot my shorts
@specgrade1 There was no band called blizzard of oz. That was the name of the album. Not the name of the band.
Randy was signed to Jet Records? Had he lived he would have been cheated out of every dime on those first two records at least!
@specgrade1 I don't need to. The album was called blizzard of oz, not the band. End of story.
@poopstain101 bark at the moon and what else, I think your wrong but could be me... Thanks in advance poop!
Ozzy hates Jake and all the songs he did with him.FACT
Jake e lee is a superb guitarplayer.
