I only eat breakfast and lunch everyday due to Crohn's disease not poverty.
I am nearing poverty myself. Life savings nearly gone.
Buy long term bonds as interest rates as posed to fall to take all the money from retirees and savers and give it to the poverty stricken so they can attempt to buy a house with no money and take out a loan to gamble at the casinos. This is what happend to Japan with their zero interest rate policy now the country is a basket case Canada will follow in their footsteps.
I know for me since my husband died I have just gone without food for a couple of days and I'm disabled unable to get to the food bank I just think it's so sad after being born here and working my entire life here doing 3 to 4 jobs at a time that I'm in the situation and yes some of it's my own fault but sometimes life just kicks you so hard that getting back up is impossible nowadays

As a renter and small family of 3 and hard working but can only eat meat maybe 2 times a month cause we can’t afford more. Food bank is my next stop soon sadly and moved to Canada as highly skilled person for a better life but only ended up living hand to mouth worse off.

PP won't do a thing to lessen immigration either.

Once upon a time I was a working single mom 2 kids and still was able to pay my rent have a car and spending decently on my kids ( I came to Canada 30 years ago ) now I'm 62 kids are gone and I'm not even able to support myself :(

Even if Trudeau quit, and someone else got elected as the PM, they would not be able to fix the situation for many, many years.

I am living below the poverty line.
Yea, i am one of them that lives below the poverty line. %100 of my welfare check goes to rent and i eat by the grace of the foodbank which lasts me 2 weeks out of the month. Ive applied to about 1500 jobs in the west end of ottawa and despite my effort nobody has yet hired me. This is my life under Trudeau.
When in times past we could go out for dinner once a month, now we celebrate being able to buy a chocolate bar.

Kraft Dinner is a luxury these days. I buy store brand when I want to splurge.
The problem is Canadian currency. When you work for money it needs to be MONEY not worthless printed paper or digits. Buy Silver Gold or bitcoin, not to "get rich" but to counter the erosion of purchasing power. It sounds hard to do but $40 CAD for a silver coin will be $50 soon, 25% gains for the 25% price increase.

I see bacons on the grocery. They are very expensive I haven’t bought bacon for years….

I buy it when on sale for $4.99 per package. I chopped it all up and cook it, then separate the cooked fat from the bacon. Put half the bacon in a glass jar and pour the fat over it. Keep it in the fridge for cooking eggs, it lasts forever! It’s like eating half a strip of bacon at a time! 😂
I find bacon on sale almost every week. It has been cheap for me to buy bacon lately
