Before the update this gun has a 3-round burst. So if you click very quicky, it fires at 3*480 = 1440 rpms, which just destroys all infantry. At least I liked the gun before the update, now I switched to Preda PG which is the only burst rifle for Germany I think.
When I started playing 3 years ago the game just seemed to play so much better than now. I’m always getting stuck on windows and scenery. Axe and bayonet charge rarely works with my soldier screaming while gently walking. The ai seems just as bad if not worse for blocking sight lines etc. I have also noticed tanks taking no damage from tnt and det packs.
Also keeping G43k on assault engineers doesn't make much sense cause they can use STG. On the other hand someone like flamethrowers could benefit from the full auto G43k.

I think it came out before the STG so it built it's legend back then as the strongest axis rifle class weapon, mainly also because of the insane 3-round burst mode. Those were fun times, but I also think that it's now not as special anymore due to the similarities with the STG. Still great to equip engineers with this though
They nerfed it a few updates ago so it was better before by removing the 3 round burst and adding the full auto mode.this is a nerf cause you could spam the 3 round burst and shoot it at like 1400 rpm if you could click fast enough.

It's not legendary anymore ever since they took the 3 round burst from it. It's a really meh rifle compared to what it was back in the day. I have no idea what the devs did to this gun, but at least the new event Federov long barrel feels much like the Kurz, unlike the Breda PG.
Somethings terribly wrong with the hitboxes in this games, thats why i dont build AT guns they rarely work at all and when you finally build one you get stuck on basically anything.
It's not that great anymore it's pretty mediocre. Worse than STG44 and worse than FG42 II it's actually in between between both while not being better in any of their traits.
Difference is that G43 Kurz can be used by rifleman class while keeping the characteristic of assault rifle.

Because it’s true, every single tank in the game can be killed by an explosive pack, literally just get better

Still a good gun and I use it still,but TBH I preferred it back when it had the burst mode,still mad DF removed that.

One of my favorite rifles both before and after the full auto change. Love it.

@@itskyansaro other weapons having unhistorical features means those need to be fixed, not that G43k needed to also stay unhistorical

The stg also uses the 8 mm Kurtz making them relatively similar
