Damn…these are QUALITY !
How well would these work on flat property? who can service them/are parts available?
Parts arent that hard to find and i daily driven several kei cars in NYC its great
Hey I know this is an old video but does this place have TX Titles on the 25+ year old Kei Trucks? I been thinking of importing one myself and doing the title work but It might just be cheaper to buy one from these guys
The ones 25 years and older have titles yeah
@@Waybeforethefame Still got some studying to do don't plan to get one for about another year if market permits
Whoa pardner, slow the camera down so we can get a better idea of what we're looking at.
Toyota gracia aka mark 11 is something else❤️❤️❤️❤️
We used to beat the hell out of the one that was assigned to us when we where in the desert it was a Daewoo i always wanted to get one back home
It's mind blowing that there is a mini trucks in ports in Texas...does anyone know what city or town that in?
Austin texas
@@Waybeforethefame thank you so much
What are the 22' models doing there? Can you buy them? Or is it like a time capsule?
So is this a auction place or do they sell outright to individuals.????
Thanks
To individuals
@@Waybeforethefamei looked them up they have like 20 cars for sale...but tons here....does not make sense
When it comes to the 171 Chassis Toyota Crown, the one to get is the Athlete V. Only 15,000 Athlete Vs made from 2000-2003. Came in both Sedan and Wagon. powered by a "276hp" 1JZ-GTE VVT-i. And if that isn't enough power for you, a very limited (300 cars) Athlete VX exist. same engine, just tuned to 300hp. They are sleepers.
Here in Philippines can't allow to use a left hand drive u can convert first before use to drive
What do you MEAN '99 was 24 years ago. [withers to dust]
LOL
wow nice, i think it is strange that no one is making RHD to LHD conversion kits for the kei cars. that would be nice.
Would be very expensive and I think RHD is half the fun
So for a 2022 Daihatsu Hijet truck, I have to wait 23 years to get one? I'll be 49-50 years old when they come here to the US.
Wait, How do they have 2022 models if they can’t be imported yet cause they aren’t 25yrs old?
off road use
Save till 2047 than register car in your near by DMV😂
Love em, except it's right hand drive..
How about marketing left side steering and a foot longer for camping.
Can you actually buy these in the US??
yeah
@@Waybeforethefame what’s the average cost of one with like 100k miles or less?
I hope that some rural mail carriers find this video. Since they are Right-hand-drive, thsee cars and trucks are perfect for mail carriers dropping off mail in roadside mailboxes.
I want a Sambar 4WD tiny pickup for grunt work around our property
The USA is a large country.
However ,if you have Honda, Subaru, Suzuki or Daihatsu dealers near your houses, you might be able to repair your kei trucks when they get broken. You should confirm it before buying.
But where do the sell these cars? Private auction for dealers only or something?
In Texas
@@Waybeforethefame I know but where? Action? Dealer?
@@rioalexbrasil this is a dealership
I loved these trucks when I was in Japan. But Texas will not register them, even with the 25 year law, I have been asking around. The only way you can drive these trucks in Texas, if they are registered from another state. Then you can only drive it for a year because It will not pass the safety inspections.
Now, I want one, how can I register it in Texas every year?
Move to Alabama.
this is why there is no old kei trucks left in Japan :(
Both countries, the USA and Canada have big territories while Japan so small and mountainous. There is no parking lot for those old kei trucks to park to preserve. So, we buy another new one.
The new ones move so smoothly.
What city in Texas ? & great info thank you for sharing sir
How do you get parts? I am seriously considering going here and buying something that is 4 wheel drive.
Wish there was the same kind of import scene for Euro 90s cars.
Duncan is the closest JDM to me.
I guess it has something to do with the exchange rate - or so the Subaru Mechanic on YT says.
I'd love a few 80s and 90s Vauxhalls.
And a few GTi Nissans too. Sunnys, Almeras, although we did get the Primera with the G20.
Duncan is insane my next video I’m about to post is going over Duncan in VA
Supercharged Van is Toyota Lucida Estima , its very nice van ,comfortable seat and ride , Before Toyota Alfrad it was higest grade toyota van . Engine is 2500/3000 cc , We have one ,
5:24 It is not a generator. It is a fire pump. All red cars on this video are used for volunteer fire fighters.

In today’s life of truck owners has gotten ridiculously way out of hand of the Big male truck egos Guys today buying huge trucks just to parade around in and the majority of them don’t even need trucks When actually, all they need is something like these trucks
Kaplan America dropped a video about their new pit vehicle.
It was like a '23, maybe a Mitsu, too lazy to search the video.
They did say that the Japanese radio wouldn't work here - so those fancy touch screens might be a brick. Any knowledge on that?
The radio won’t work but they have apple and android CarPlay so you can connect your phone or just get a Bluetooth transmitter that what people do now on the JDM cars
Alfa Romeo had a special homologation version of the 155 for the BTCC back in the early mid - 90s.
Dunno if this is it but lawd those were sex on wheels back in the day.
Shame it isn't Rosso Red.
That one you are on about is the Q4, 4x4 Turbo 4 cylinder(pretty much Lancia Delta integrale in Alfa 155) This one is the legendary V6 Busso, best sounding V6 engine in the world.
@@nitro74cs That makes sense. The BTCC was all 4 pots now that I remember.
@@eamonnmckeown6770 However I may be wrong but as far as I can remember it was that.
@@nitro74cs It might not have been turbo as it was for homologation. Long time ago. They shipped them with the aero package boxed in the trunk to fit the rulebook - shady Italians. lol.
@@eamonnmckeown6770 I see, I didn’t know that. Sounds like the 155 you mention can not be either this front wheel drive v6 busso or the 4x4 turbo Q4. Nevertheless both 155 and phase 1 164 were great cars in every aspect. They still look up to date, look sharp, handle perfectly. No surprise to see one in America, must be going to an Alfa enthusiast.
What’s the average price for the surfs ?
