Skepticism is fine but don’t just throw out some recycled “tech violates privacy” criticism.
One should not love the ever increasing push to collect all information digitally, leave it open to state (and those willing to pay a price for such means) to invade one's privacy, remove tangible control over one's personal effects and increase state control. Further, leaving this potentially open to Apple Intelligence is also enhancing risk to your personal information.
They literally said “for now, you still need your physical ID” for TSA. They showed the demo kiosk at SFO and the report was about ID being on Apple wallet now, not news about digital ID working at TSA.

I just tried it on my iPhone. The installation is taking forever so I gave up.
It’s so simple though, literally did the process in 5 minutes but waited overnight for the verification.

Wrong! I have been through multiple flights and TSA never accepts my digital wallet ID.

I did not get any errors, but at the end “it’s not available”.
Update, the approval can take up to 24 hrs. I got mine approved. Watch for the email approval link the next day
