You can’t possibly imagine how much you’ve helped me out with this video! I started Irish Step Dancing classes for the 1st time in my life late last year and only had 2 classes before holidays came in. So I practiced most days during holidays and am proud to say that I can now do the whole sequence in fast speed mode. There’s no way I can thank you enough!! Sending warm wishes from Brazil 🇧🇷

Dear Tyler, I recently used your tutorial to learn the hornpipe, which I danced three times each in four shows the weekend of December 17 in Lyric Theatre of San Jose's "H.M.S. Pinafore". I learned the steps through about minute 9 of your tutorial. That gave me 4 measures. So I just repeated the sequence to give me the 8 measures I needed. I'm not a dancer, but I painstakingly went through your tutorial to learn the material. And I was super thrilled that I got it! Your instruction was perfectly clear and precise, and slow enough for me to learn it. Thanks a million for your tutorial -- I can't thank you enough! Will Todd

Awesome video for people looking for an introduction to Hard-shoe Irish Dancing! Thank you Tyler and Capezio for making this available to anyone who wants to tryout a new dance style! My daughter and I love seeing you perform your advanced choreography, but this is a video we can actually participate with. Please keep sharing your amazing performance videos, but we would also love to tryout some more introductory dances. You do such a great job of breaking it down into easy steps that we can understand. 💚🤍🧡🌈☘️👞

I love to be able to say I was doing it before it was cool. So long ago, in fact, that I can't remember the steps. I just started watching this video and I hope you do the "baby" hornpipe, because that's as far as I got.

This varies so much from what I´ve learnd as a beginners hornpipe and it´s just amazing. There are also similarities, but i think that´s mainly because of the begginers level. I really fancy that each academy of irish dance has got their own steps so it´s definitely not boring! I loved seeing different steps for this dance and I find them very nice. Thank you for your videos!

Yay! I’m picking this up faster than the beginner light jig. Maybe because I’ve been doing some Ottawa Valley steps and am familiar with that?? Anyway, one dance helps the other sometimes and I’m soooo happy I’m starting to pick them up better. Now to try the second half of the video lol
