This guy is so great. His enthusiasm for building Ghostbusters props is contagious. I've watched a bunch of his videos from Ghostbusters Day and he has been just as excited to talk about his work in every video.
Probably the best way to get info, right in front of the actual firehouse, ha! Big fan of the channel ever since Jeromy borrowed your dome clip in our interview with Ben Hall. Keep up the good work, loving it so far! - Vinz from Your Geek Fix
I was there watching you film it. I also spoke with Zach for a while and I don't know if you remember me, but I was the kid with the ghostbusters hat and shirt. You can hear me say that closes nicely on 4:34.
Man I wish they would do another (different) run of the Protopacks... i totally missed it back then... :( But i am glad I ordered the 2 in the Box! Cant wait!
Very nice they look really good my only gripe is he doesn't have the connector hose for the pack to the wand lol. Did he give you any hints about the next haslab? It looks to be the ecto I'm just curious to see what will it come with.
all I really want to know is if the ribbon cable on the front of the pedal is flexible to hang it on the traps handle or if it's rigid like the Mattel trap lol
Probably won’t like any answer to this because I won’t be able to get them. Does the trap come with a working foot pedal? I have one custom made but it’s already broken
I really hope so!! They did tell me the model we saw was basically ready for production now. So they have to start production, then manage shipping and distribution. 🤞
Yes - it is plastic - unlike the switch on the prop which is an electrical one - it’s mechanical - so it can release the mechanism the lifts up the arms into the ‘taser’ mode. You feel it click - and then release the arms.
I honestly hope that I could use a different aviation cable that uses the same 3 prong connection on the trap and pedal so I can purchase a longer cable. 20 feet of pure electrical mess here I come xp
Batteries not included. They're making it easy for consumers. I'm sure that, as with their D-cell powered proton pack, it won't be that difficult to switch out the batteries for a rechargeable battery pack.
Yeah the handle feels a little thick to hold - Zack said they had a lot to fit in it from battery to motors. It still feels really nice in your hand tho! 😊

Yeah he’s awesome! So into what he does for work!
I keep rewatching this video and have not closed it out of my tabs for 2 months... I cannot wait any longer
lol!!!! When will they arrive - that is the question!!!
my favorite thing about this video is that I was watching it be filmed! nice to see it air
That’s cool! 👌 glad you got to see it!

Thanks Vinz! Really appreciate it! Yeah so cool to see the props right there! Love Your Geek Fix! We have to do a colab some time!

Yes! Hi! Thanks for commenting 😊 hope you had a great day! Zach was so great!
I still think the PKE Meter should’ve been a retail item instead of HasLab, but it looks good all the same…
That trap is so freaking cool.
I know right!
Man I wish they would do another (different) run of the Protopacks... i totally missed it back then... :( But i am glad I ordered the 2 in the Box! Cant wait!
Hey. That is so cool. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for the content and hard work.
Thanks! And more to come!
Omg the trap looks gorgeous!!!!!!!
They did a great job!
Both of these props look like they came straight out of the film!!! I do hope that they change the width of the wing on the pke meter tho
They have done a really good job - Im assuming the thickness I down to making it robust enough and work in both a normal and 'stun' modes
Very nice they look really good my only gripe is he doesn't have the connector hose for the pack to the wand lol. Did he give you any hints about the next haslab? It looks to be the ecto I'm just curious to see what will it come with.
No hits - but I think the new logo makes it clear it’s Ecto related 😊
I was there that day, i wish I had bumped into ya to say hi
Aww me too! Next time! Hope you had a great day!
Hmm thinner so would a gx16 still work? Have you tried plugging one in?
I haven’t got another one to hand right now so can’t test it at the moment.
Have they removed the lights from inside the trap?
That’s a great question I didn’t see any lights in there unless the silver paint inside is transparent. Need to rewatch now!
all I really want to know is if the ribbon cable on the front of the pedal is flexible to hang it on the traps handle or if it's rigid like the Mattel trap lol
Yeh that would be cool - they didn’t show the pedal
GX12 or GX16 size connector?
I think it’s a Gx16 - 3 pin but not certain that’s how it looked to me (GX16 is the same size I used to convert my spirit trap)
@ thank you! I thought so too
Just an update on this - now I have the trap it looks exactly the same size as the 16 - but the pins are much thinner
Oh, I can't wait for these! So awesome!
Yeah they are looking great!
Probably won’t like any answer to this because I won’t be able to get them. Does the trap come with a working foot pedal? I have one custom made but it’s already broken
I think it comes with pedal.
@@kylec.8350 ah man 😭 it’s so difficult to get the good stuff in Australia. Had to pay a fortune for third party delivery of spirit packs
Yes there is a peal - but they didn't demonstrate it in the street. It will connect to the aviation connector.
@@ExperienceExplorers I wonder if they’ll ever be available again. Wish there was an Australian branch for Hasbro
Hopefully they will.
Do you think 2 in the box will finish shipping by 10/31?
I really hope so!! They did tell me the model we saw was basically ready for production now. So they have to start production, then manage shipping and distribution. 🤞
Thank you for this, although that P.K.E. handle is on the thick side, and the rocker switch for the taser mode looks plastic.
Yes - it is plastic - unlike the switch on the prop which is an electrical one - it’s mechanical - so it can release the mechanism the lifts up the arms into the ‘taser’ mode. You feel it click - and then release the arms.
@@ExperienceExplorers - Okay, that makes sense. Thank you for the explanation.
Taking offers on mine when it arrives.
I know there will be a few people in the comments here that will want to make you an offer 😊
Looks awesome expressly the trap coming out of the shell.
Yeah that’s my fave part of the trap! Makes me want to make a 3D printed one that does this!
YES!!
So cool!
This was amazing af!
Thanks!
so late fall probably means well after Halloween
Quite probably!
I wonder if the red light actually blinks
I think is does - it was just hard to see the direct sunlight.
Those wheels look like they came off a wagon on the Oregon trail lol
Lol! They look les chunky in person - but they roll real well!
the thickness of the wings on the PKE just doesnt look good to me
They are definitely thicker - I’m sure there are production reasons for that - I know it’s always a balance between manufacture and design aesthetics.
I honestly hope that I could use a different aviation cable that uses the same 3 prong connection on the trap and pedal so I can purchase a longer cable. 20 feet of pure electrical mess here I come xp
I’m sure you can - the fitting looks like a standard fitting I used on my trap mod - you could easily get the connectors and make an extension 😊
It looks so great. I just wish that I didn't have to cancel my order
Sorry 😢 well hopefully you can pick one up after the fact.
@@ExperienceExplorers here's to hoping
They added the yellow LED to the trap!
Yeah it looks good!
AAA batteries? Why not rechargeable?
Batteries not included. They're making it easy for consumers. I'm sure that, as with their D-cell powered proton pack, it won't be that difficult to switch out the batteries for a rechargeable battery pack.
ThiccKE meter. But I get it. Retail electronics etc. not bad.
Yeah - I think considering the effort required to balance the prop/toy/manufacture they have done a great job.
I missed out on the campaign. It seems Australian can’t get it easily. I really wanted at least one lot 😢
Ugh that sucks - sorry!
Cool ❤
Hasbro has captured lightening in a bottle with their ghostbuster lineup!
Yeah it’s super good!!! 👍
He appears to have lost his hose going to the wand 😮
lol yeah - although strictly speaking haslab don’t provide one!
Haslab provided a hose with the pack.
Oh yeah you’re right - my bad!
So disappointed the PKE is so thick :(
Yeah the handle feels a little thick to hold - Zack said they had a lot to fit in it from battery to motors. It still feels really nice in your hand tho! 😊
My problem is the wings lol. The rest seems fine
This guy makes me jealous
Star lord is a Ghostbuster
Lol
