Interesting to hear your thoughts, as always. As you alluded to, it's a dangerous game relying on 'outside circumstances' to determine whether or not we are happy, or satisfied, or deemed successful. Yes, people may feel temporarily elated when things go as hoped for, but they will probably also feel despair when things go in an unintended direction (as regularly happens). How many views we get on youtube is a classic example. Why worry about that, given that we have no control over other people's viewing habits? Far better to focus on what we can alter, i.e. our reaction to external stimuli, and trying to observe when our emotions have been disrupted (in the case of power tool-happy neighbours, for instance!). You seem very self-aware already though, which is a huge asset. I hope you keep posting, Morts, whether you get 1000 views, or 1 million views - always thought-provoking for me.
Thanks for another great time, through and with your videos. Just like you, i love my alone time. A lot. I have a 15 yr old cat named Kittyanna and a 14 yr old dog named Dude. Both are very healthy for their ages but i have told myself, after they pass, i will move around or travel more. I love imagining what my life may include later down. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Completely agree with you morts. I’ve been watching travel blogs and some of them resort to shower scenes etc to get views which is just sad and nothing to do with the blogs. But unfortunately that content gets views. I don’t think anyone should sell their soul and decency for a some views. That’s why I love your vlogs… you are real.

Hi, Mort, the santan (coconut milk) you supposed to milk the milk from it. Add water to it to get the coconut milk. Then the dried santan will be thrown away. This is how we do it in Malaysia. I don't know if you get me. But i think if its ok for you, all good then. Source : I'm a Malaysian
