I've been waiting for Ayumi to get in since I saw her trophy in Melee and I just finished Missing Heir and I absolutely loved it. I hope she makes it in and I will drink the tears of the haters if she does get in.

I have strong doubts but I really hope so. I've been wanting Ayumi since I looked her up from Melee. I miss them doing more obscure, retro, or secondary 1st party characters more. Like I want Daroach too but it seems like it'll never happen nowadays.
2:08 "Did anyone predict that Piranha Plant being a DLC fighter?" Actually, yes. Around the time of it's release there was a screenshot of a forum post floating around where someone literally said that Piranha Plant has more chances of being a fighter in Smash than Waluigi would.
Good theory but I dont think IF there is a bonus fighter that it will be from a new Game Universe since they likely want to at least represent Famicom Detective Club as a whole with a Stage, Music and new Spirits. So if she gets in itll likely be as a whole pack.
(Long comment i apologize) Im late to this video but im glad to see yet ANOTHER Ayumi fan out there! I been advocating for her inclusion since 2018 when i found out. I made a couple discussions myself and i was working on a moveset for her (like many others) that i just finished the other night! I sort of knew the bonus character was gonna be too good to be true but if it was real i do hope it would be her. It would be just like when Phoenix Wright got in Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3. And i love the salt myself. I always LOVE seeing the rage on twitter and everywhere else like not only with Byleth but even with Pyra/Mythra, and Kazuya (Another shoto lol). I really love and appreciatae when more obscure characters get in Smash cuz it would give me the same feeling I had when Marth appeared out of nowhere in SMASH Bros Melee and when Yusha (The Hero) arrived in Smash Bros Ultimate. Yeah i would be confused at first, but it was how they are presented and what they are capable of that makes me like them. Plus it introduced me to games i never dived into before as well. I think people gotta think of it like this, there is a time we did not know who Mario was, who Sonic was, who Rockman/Mega Man was/ Pa-man, Link, Captain Falcon, Ness (especially in the first game), who Game & watch was, ROB, Cloud, Sora, Ryu, Bayonetta, all of them. There was a time when we all ha d ever seen any of them before and I think we need to get use to when we see characters get in we have little to no clue of. It's okay o be disappointed, or to not like who gets in, but it doesn't mean we should take out that frustation on others who might have wanted them in the first place.

But actually, I think she will come with the things most challenger packs do, let me explain: So if the supposed bonus fighter would be outside the fighter passes, u would think it would be after the Guardian mii costume right? This makes me think a potential bonus fighter would have what the standard fighters of the fighters pass would have. If this is the case. And also, the fact that NO LEAKER that is credible has heard of a potential bonus fighter, it is very likely it would be from Nintendo, because since it is in house, it would leak less. And since Famicom Detective club has a remake, yeah I have Ayumi as the bonus fighter, assuming we get one.
@@ghj743tf What are you on about? Never said FDC never had a chance of getting into Smash Bros. Just said if it was a LN (Light Novel), it would have 0 chances of getting in which it's not. It's a VN (Visual Novel) which has had a chance since VN classifieds as a game and LN are classified as books/novels. Plus, if there was a vote btw FDC and Ace Attorney. Ace Attorney wins since it's more popular outside of Japan.

no, we are not getting a bonus fighter, sakurai himself said there are only 2 dlc fighters left then smash ultimate will be finalized which means no bonus fighter is getting made, the anime like character we are getting in fighter's pass 2 will be sora as challenger pack 11
The issue I see with this idea if if she were to get in the game she'd probably come with a stage, music and spirits to represent Famicom Detective Club and if the bonus fighter is anything like Pirahna Plant it will probably just be the fighter themself not a challenger pack, I totally agree it will be first party but a character from a series that's already got a good amount of content in the game like Waluigi or Bandana Waddle Dee seems more likely to me. I wouldn't mind being wrong though, the Switch remakes look interesting and I'm all for Smash bringing attention to less popular franchises, hell my most wanted character for fighters pass 2 was Travis Touchdown.

The bonus fighter could be anyone really so Ayumi Tachibana might have a chance but like I said it could be anyone so it might be Crash Bandicoot or Waluigi or Arle Nadja or Reimu or Shantae or Scorpion or Sub-Zero or it could even be Hatsune Miku but anyway whoever it is I will be grateful
This video was made before the final fighter being Sora and plus,the game is already wrap up according to Sakurai,hoping she will be a playable character in the next game and now we wait.
