PLEASE NOTE: Make sure you've cleared skew BEFORE setting new skew at mag shrine ;) Also, I apologize for the noise at twenty-four seconds in. It's most definitely not in the original file, and I'm not sure why it's here even after trying a second upload... I hope the video is helpful just the same 👍👊
Not all skew is the same, so you need to get new skew sometimes throughout the route. When setting new skew, you should clear any skew you already have first. The new skew doesnt cancel out the old.. it builds on top and gets weird. The optimal strats are to get skew at temple of time, reuse that skew at bombs, clear skew, set new skew at mag, reuse that skew at stasis, clear skew, set new skew at cryo, clip in, and then youre done with skew.
Also, i have a video that dives more into skew and ragdoll glitch which may be helpful if you have further questions or just want more info on all that stuff
For canal windbomb what are the reasons for adverse effects such as not getting enough height to clear the door or getting too much height and not enough distance to clear
Keep trying tbh. Play with facing it on directly standing right up against it. Maybe practice that one of a save file where you already have the door open since you can then walk out and keep on clipping over and over instead of having to reload.

7:00 i aciedentey just did a shield jump on the ground(forgot the left joystick) still got the clip
I personally don’t do the setup to get skew. I just walk up, press X, and shield surf midair

Id post a clip in the general help section of the speedrun discord and someone will be able to help you with that much easier

top windbomb seems more consistent but both usually have the square bomb miss me why is that? or hit me and not give any speed or height
I had the same problem, but I learned that you need to be holding zl, and you have to put down the circle bomb before you go into bullet time.

That happens and is partially why that wb is so tricky and difficult. I just run through to save my sanity rather than a couple of seconds
