Recorded at BBC Queen Margaret Studios, Glasgow, that year.

I have very fond memories of seeing Tonight at Noon regularly on Friday nights at the Lorne Hotel in Glasgow. Peter and Gavin Livingstone are formidable talents with a lot of soul.

I harassed their record company for months and they eventually released a digital copy of the Down to the Devils in the early 2000's. Cracking band!

My dad still has a cassette copy of Down to the Devils he guards with his life. The cover has a picture of Glasgow City centre with the motorway flyovers on it. Turns out I might be a very distant relation of the great John McLean.

William Wallace is also a relation of mine. A small piece of his matted hair is a treasured family heirloom. It was passed to me by my father, and i wear it weaved into my own hair. I draw on its strength and heritage to see me through this world. One day, i will pass it to my son if he finally gets off the smack. Strength in jesus.
