Have you macarons cracked after baking?
My first ever macarons cracked. I rested my macarons atleast 10 hours. But still so soft. But before i placed in oven, it was a bit hard already😔 its rlly rlly humid here

Currently watching this video while seing my macarons in the oven crack on top...It's my first time making them (Valentine's day ofc) and I did them yesterdy to test, failed because they were underbaked, tasted them, and they were way to sweet. So today I changed the sugar mesurements, I took off about 15g of the sugar both in my swiss meringue and the icing sugar. They have several little cracks so it might as well be the meringue, OOOOR the oven, because I baked them at 145, yesterday I baked them at 140, they were shinny smooth almost perfect...but unbaked. Thank you so much for the tips! Gotta do my 3rd batch after shool now, I can't waste my rasberry ganache now :( Also it was impossible to get my batter with a ribbon texture, it was always breaking and it still needed a lot of efforts to fold even after 30mn of macaronage. What hurts is that I could've baked yesterday's batch a little longer and it would've been perfect :(((
Macarons will also crack if you don't compliment them continually, if you say anything unflattering about France, are wearing cheap perfume, express a preference for Italian food, or claim California red wines are the best. Do not taunt the macaron.
Damn I said "why do French desserts suck so much" while they were baking that must have been it

after 4 hours of resting the shells are not having their skin 😧 how much should i let them? 6 hours is it to much?

i bake in an gas oven and it has big cracks even though i rested few batches oever a peirod of tim e from 45 mins to 2 hrs how can i fix it
My first tray came out perfect but the second tray had half volcanoe cracks 🤦🏻♀️
