@OGR-4394 really? I find them pretty useful, not just as a fellow game developer, but a lot of them have general life applications, too. I suppose we all have different takes, what makes you feel that way about these vids?
Nintendo have many my favourite Video Game Categories RPGs (Pokémon), Open World Action Adventures (The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom) 2D and 3D Platformer (Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D All Stars, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Super Mario Bros Wonder Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and Princess Peach Showtime), Racing games (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Sonic Team Racing) and Fighting games (Super Smash Bros Ultimate). I've been a huge Nintendo fan and I will be with Nintendo my whole life to the Death, i'm going miss these Sakurai's Game Creator Videos, love you Nintendo! 😊❤
Category D is probably the easiest to practice. Not the most directly impactful part of game design, but those small touches are generally absorbed by the subconscious.
I'd argue the opposite. It's all the small things that may be quickly omitted during development, either by those uninitiated or to meet deadlines. It's up to you to still somehow find your time and way to take care of all these specifics. The Devil's In The Details, just like that Jackbox game about dividing up chores.
As many times as I've died in a game, without knowing what got me, I certainly appreciate some sort of hit stop highlighting what I clearly missed.
D: Design Specifics 1; Completed!
With Sakurai's videos we'll all be game developers soon!
I have a big dream to be a developer, with Sakurai's videos I can be a developer too! 😊❤

These videos are invaluable. If Sakurai was a college professor I'd certainly want to attend his classes.
With all Sakurai's videos I’m already a developer too but not yet hopefully I can become one very soon

Like a very videogame fan I like seeing this kind of videos where a developer explain more or less how a company works

ya sakurai spent all evening making this compilation
Again, helpful to have.
Awesome video!

How many more compilations are left after this one?

Actually this combining videos together idea seems a good one if you want a few days off from being a content creator on TH-cam
It's almost like every single creator has been doing it for months because the algorithm favors showing people longform content now.
