Thanks, Tim. Used to burn cow patties, too. But, cuz of all the conveniences of USA life, used to have more fun pitchin them than usin them for fire. During a natural disaster, there comes a time when the outside deficiencies' try to come inside and destroy your world. Prepping and practice builds confidence. And if you get the family involved, the rewards can triple and even save your life. There was a time when I had to load mags in the dark. It was second nature because I did it so much I was dreamin about it. But, if you don't keep up the practice you lose time, precious time you may not have during a major economic or natural disaster. What I have attempted doing is weekly, rough it without the conveniences of our "casual" life. It makes me a better person. And prepping with lots of practice pays dividends. Also, the family sees what you do and comes around with parlay and suggestions. Any kind of involvement-nothing is too little, will help when the time comes. But there's no time like now. Liked the vid. One mans trash is another's treasure. Remember on Apollo 13, when the Engineers had to come up with a breathing apparatus in a certain time. They did it by working the problem.
