- Hey babies! Welcome backkk to my channel! Today I am showing you How To use and apply Fenugreek for extreme, HEALTHY, hair growth! Fenugreek is a plant native to Mediterranean and Asian countries. Due to its impressive benefits, it is widely used amongst many Indian cultures! Indian women have been using Fenugreek in their diets and hair care routines since ancient times! The Fenugreek plant can be used in many different ways. Some people like to use its leaves or seeds. You can soak the seeds overnight, strain, then add the water to a smoothie and use the soaked seeds as a great salad topping, or you can boil the seeds for 10 minutes, strain, and use that water as a leave-in spray for your hair. You can also make a Fenugreek hair oil! This plant is sooo versatile! Today we will be making a moisturizing hair mask from Fenugreek powder! This hair mask is great for dry, damaged hair, those transitioning from heat damaged, flaky/dandruff scalp, and those experiencing hair loss/thinning. This mask can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, that way you can use it 2x a week! This works for ALL hair textures! 2a-4c! Fenugreek can build up on your hair strands just like a protein treatment or henna, so it’s better to use it in small portions at a time. Adding a few tbsp to your deep conditioner weekly will be more effective than applying so much of it all at once! 🥰

I do use fenugreek in my Ayurvedic DIY leave-in spray. I also add fenugreek to my henna and indigo color treatment. I have all these ingredients and will try this mask. My tip is to use a glass bowl for mixing and a glass jar for storing. Plastic is really not good to use. I drink only spring water, however, for mixing my haircare products I use distilled water. I am hoping that this mask leaves my hair feeling soft. Many Ayurvedic masks leave my hair feeling stiff and I have to deep condition afterwards to get the softness that I want.
This really works, I used it for about 2 years and my hair was beautiful to the middle of my back, sadly I bleached it and it fell out. Starting all over again. 😅

Does the mask leave any powder grain residue after washing out?
I never had any problems washing out fenugreek masks. But i use only 2 tablespoons of fennugreek and more liquid ingredients like Rose water and Aloe Juice. I go for a jello like consistency. If you let it sit for a few minutes the fenugreek will swell and ticken up. My pro tip: blending it before applying. It will get fluffy and you wont have any grains or undissolved bits.
There was very little to no residue since I washed it twice!

I've tried fenugreek powder several times but it's torture trying to get the mask out of my hair. It just reminds you of oatmeal or something that you can't get out of your hair
Use a wig cap to strain the powder. You can strain it three times to make sure the powder is all out. Make sure its not too thick or it'll be too hard to strain.
Maaan if you have wooly hair, DONT USE! I been washing my hair every for 5 day straight! But it makes the hair the softesr I've ever had in my life! 😭
