Currently finishing my masters for learning experience design and education technology. Looking to do freelance work on the side since I’m a full time teacher. This was great!

What a great video Sabrina! The interview with Megan gave some great insight into what hiring managers are looking for. And, now that I'm starting to work on my prototype in the Bootcamp I can see a light at the end of the tunnel! I'm so inspired by your journey and also looking forward to the possibility of freelancing.

Thank you Sabrina for this insightful video. It was great to hear the perspective of someone who is hiring. It definitely gave me some tips on what to focus on for my portfolio. I feel that teachers have a lot of wonderful qualities that make them key assets for any instructional design team. I think that you are a great example and inspiration for other teachers to follow your footsteps and contribute their experience in this field.

Thanks for checking it out! We’re glad that you got some valuable takeaways, and yes, teachers become excellent instructional designers (some of the best). Sabrina is a wonderful example of that!

Thank you for this inspiring video. Great information. I love teaching; however, I am thinking of doing ID. I just finished the Educational Technology Master's program at FGCU. I have a lot of information but don't know how to start working as an ID. I created a portfolio during my master's program, including all my projects, videos, and eLearning courses (Storyline, Rise, Canva, Camtasia). This video, mentions a BootCamp. Cost?

Thanks so much for watching! And yes, industry portfolios are generally a bit different from academic portfolios. Feel free to check out the eLearning portfolio review videos here on the channel, or the portfolio showcase (www.devlinpeck.com/showcase) to see effective examples. And you can learn more about the bootcamp here: www.devlinpeck.com/bootcamp
