    doesn't look too shabby....those views are a bit sketch though...I was in a place just recently and it was 15MM ($615 USD) for the month + I assume another $40 - 60 for electric (4k vnd/kwh). Was on a relatively quite alley, close to a lot of things in D1. Cleaning & laundry 3x/wk (m, w, f) with good sun, a small balcony.

    • @BigTimeBentley

    Nice little place. Especially for the price and house cleaning and laundry . So it’s an Airbnb. Do you pay by the month? And how long are you aloud to stay there?

    • @BigTimeBentley

      yeah paid for the month so there was a slight discount...I imagine I could stay as long as I wanted

      A family friend of Trang's parents adopted Frosty so she is happily living in Phan Rang with a new family...wasn't easy letting her go but unfortunately I couldn't reasonably keep her after I moved out of my old apartment

    Would it be cheaper to pay in advance monthly than $18 a day? The price is affordable for Vietnam compared to Motel 6 in California

    • @BigTimeBentley
      @BigTimeBentley  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      This is a monthly rate I just divided the total price by the number of days and mentioned the daily rate

    I see they have tp, but with the bun gun, do the locals spray then wipe or spray and pull their drawers up? In the PI, they would dip a can into a bucket of water, pour it down their backside, wipe with their hand, then pour a second can. No paper and no place to wash your hands.

    • @ChrissieSM
      @ChrissieSM 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yuk! What country is PI? Philippines? If so, I have seen on YT some of their cheap hotels, they had proper toilets and showers.

    Not a bad place mate, but for about the same price I reckon you could get a decent place in district 4 with a balcony and more nicer amenities. Still, thanks for sharing. I was in VN last year and then the year before and now its my plan to move there before EOY 2024 or by mid 2025 at latest and work in IT remotely (as thats my profession, tech support to be precise). That would be $85-120/ night in the US, and nowhere near thqt clean...maid service would be another $25-40/ day....laundry service would be $10-15/pound....or basically $2,800-3,500/ month!!! We paid $250/ day for an AirB&B doublewide trailer in Florida....and ut was.nowhere near that clean and modern. $480/month, no G&L bill...sign me up!!!

    That's NOT Saigon's trendiest area; not even close. That area is a slum. Trendiest area and best clubs are found within a few hundred meters from Nguyen Hue. But probably outside of your budget since cocktails average $16 each.
