I feel like you missed the references to social media in the video the cheerleader looking in a broken mirror and seeing herself through a broken lens is Instagram. The zombie that points at another one in an accusatory way before the rest devour him is the perfect visual example of Twitter
The entire song was literally about multimedia and cancel culture
The entire song was a reference to social media and liberal mind virus rhetoric. Even towards the end, they make reference to “aliens” coming to America. The final threat is more a foreboding figure of the future that holds for the people if we continue to follow the media lies and pundits mindlessly without question.
The creature at the end is a Kaiju, a Japanese monster from the movie Pacific Rim

Watch the lyrical version then you'll get the message once you get the message then it makes this song Hit 10 times harder.. he's talking about how our phones and the news and society today is making us all zombies and everybody is more concerned with their outward complexion versus what's inside that's why the cheerleader look down and she was all cute and shit* but she was still a zombie.. even the poster with Uncle Sam saying I want your brains.. as in like the United States wants to control us. You just got to get the message behind the song and it slaps 10 times harder this is probably in my top three from them for sure
Well he’s also saying that the damage done to people through cancel culture has scared the general public and turned us into zombies who are afraid to speak our minds for fear that we will also be cancelled. If we don’t go along with the Zombified hive mind narratives, then we will be cancelled. The zombies also represent the perpetually woke people trying to change your opinions to fit theirs, or else. Zombies are “woke” dead, never alble to “rest” or sleep cause they are living dead. Couldn’t agree more with his message. Love to see it!

@@birdog9633 Ronnie's always got a way to open your mind in a different way and just the way that that dude's brain works and how he delivers a message like the dude is in his own genre.. like I know a lot of you guys probably get it and some of you don't but like this dude finally grew up and turned into a real mature adult and is putting out some of the hardest music and the song chemical prisoner is probably my favorite just because I've been sober for 6 years now and that song got me through a lot of shit.. but somewhere in the back of my mind I had a feeling that he was working on something about the way the world is today then when I heard this I was so happy it's because I knew what the message meant and it was delivered perfectly. I can't wait to see them either
Listen to Ronnie's own comments on this song... he's has talked a bit about it in his 'reactions to reactors' videos on this .. specifically, listen to his comments about halfway through the Alex Hefner review. Ronnie talks about this song being a reaction to the hate that ALL people heap on each other at the drop of a hat these days, be it on the internet or in daily encounters on the street, in the mall, etc. As he said (paraphrasing here) We are all to blame, we all do it, we can't have a decent conversation any more.
While he picks on the cancel culture (for good reason) he also talks about the lies we're being told, and uses heavy imagery of the corrupted Uncle Sam, the cheerleaders (in R/W/B) leading their 'rally' . I think Ronnie is pointing the finger in many/all directions. Basically, if someone tries to use this video to illustrate why we should hate any one group, or to prove their own point, then we have missed the ENTIRE point of the video.
He's asking for us to root out the cancelling-thing in how we conduct ourselves, business, and politics (HUGE problem with CC there, right?)
He's asking us to come together and agree to disagree, agreeably.
Back to the cheerleader.
Ronnie has her look in the mirror and she sees herself as beautiful, rather see the filth she's wrapped herself in.
He's asking us to look in the mirror and see the ugly that we personally hold in our hearts.. it's up to us, individually, to conduct ourselves in a more civil manner, to do something about that 'ugly' that we turn on others.
Bring back the 'civil' in civilization.

I have no idea who Ronnie Radke is nor have I ever heard this band before so it baffles me that TH-cam’s algorithm would suggest a reaction to this. But I’m glad it did. Not a bad song for a US mainstream rock band. Definitely giving this a chance.

I think the zombie outbreak in the video is just to set the beginning for the lyrics, as the song progressed in speed and aggressiveness so did the "monsters" in the video to showcase how much worse the cancel culture will proceed to catch up to everyone.

On the aliens and the demon thing, I thought they were just an image of how this current culture just keeps getting more and more crazy.
