Loved it up until the binding was added
Funny, and I was thinking those colours don't go together - until the binding was added, which brought it all together nicely ;-)
What I would have done instead of binding is sewn a piece of fabric, right sides to right sides, left an opening to turn it, clipped the corners before turning it, clipped all around the curve of the ornament, turned it, pressed it, and then stitched the opening. I don't mind binding at all, in fact, where a lot of people don't like doing binding, it doesn't bother me. I just think in this case, the binding takes away from the effect of the ornament; but each to their own.
