Making a 4-20mA Current Measurement Using a Dataq Data Logger

This video demonstrates how to connect a 4-20mA signal, make a measurement and display meaningful engineering units in WinDaq data acquisition software. Any sensor with a 4-20mA output (pressure sensors, flow sensors, temperature sensors, etc.) can be connected to the data logger, and the resulting 1-5V signal scaled into units (i.e. pounds (lbs), gallons per minute (GPM), temperature (degrees C or F), etc.).
