Judith Barsi, only 10 yrs old, Dominique Dunne, 22 yrs old, Rebecca Schaeffer, 21 yrs old, and Phil Hartmann, 49 yrs old, all murdered by a father, a boyfriend, a stalker, and a wife, is ABSOLUTELY tragic! Plus the fact that Mr. Hartmann was murdered and his wife committed suicide while their 2 kids were in the house leaving them instantly orphaned is also horrific. Judy Garland dying at only 49 due to abuse by the studio shoving diet pills, then sleeping pills at her to make her perfect is tragic. And Paul Walker, who did so much good in the world by helping those suffering after disasters ( with much of his own money, using his own time ), dying in a horrific car crash and burning alive, leaving a 15 year old daughter, and still wanting to help those less fortunate is a tragedy. Yes, many if these deaths were sad and tragic, but one should really consider that those who lived long, love filled, happy, successful lives, and dying a natural death over 90 years old is not a tragedy. Anne Heche haunts me to this day. Even if she was in the wrong to drive when she was so intoxicated with whatever drugs. She had a really hard upbringing, and even to the end of Anne's life, her mother pretty much rejected her because of the way Anne had lived (being lesbian for a few years, and I guess other lifestyle choices, drugs, etc.). But yeah, Anne suffered and I won't get into details but I had some similar pain and loss in my childhood that makes me feel for her. Hard to get her last days out of my mind.
I live in Alaska and lived in Barrow for many years. The monument they put up in honor of these men was always so heart breaking to see. Just before you hit the Monument there is a place called Hollywood. A movie was filmed there and all the structures were still standing and used by the locals for camping. I stayed there many times.
i don't understand why some of these were on the list lol, when people like anton yelchin, who was pinned by his own car and died slowly, or bob crane, who was beaten to death, weren't....
Social media needs to redefine their definition of a "Worst Way to Die". Some of these deaths, while sad and/or untimely can best be described as fairly normal, a natural consequence of aging, or the logical outcome of a lethal habit. I'm not saying they were not sad, simply that they don't rise to the definition of dying in the "worst way."
It's good that Dominique Dunne is on this list but why is Heather O'Rourke not on this list? This little girl went through hell with her parents and doctors trying to figure out why she was in so much pain and couldn't eat. The doctors misdiagnosed her. In fact, if they had done a standard exam/imaging that was suggested due to her symptoms, they would have been able to find out the cause and treat it then. Instead they gave her medications that she was not supposed to take because she did not have that condition. It made her cheeks swell up and she was very self-conscious about it. You can tell that from the last movie she did before she died, Poltergeist 3. In fact, she died before they were finished filming the movie. She had a blockage in her intestine that ended up bursting and that's how she died. If they would have done that exam, they would have found the blockage and it would have been easy to treat and she would have survived. This little girl was suffering and the doctors let her, her family, loved ones and her fans down. I can't remember but I believe her parents filed malpractice suits. If not, they should have. It wouldn't have brought her back but it could have taught those doctors a lesson to not skimp on testing, especially when a patient is in extreme pain. I would consider that a horrible way to die. Especially for a child.
One of the biggest tragedies I remember, didn't make your list. It's John Belushi's tragic Overdose in March 1982. I was so Shocked that such a good & promising Comedian, likely the 1970s Lou Costello, had died.
@wc3617 Thank You for your comment. Although I agree that it was A Great Tragedy, at least he had a death that was A Natural Causes, unlike John Belushi, death. Let me know what you think (Candy was A Great Talent).
It’s even sadder when you realize that her mother had decided to leave her father. She was afraid to completely leave him so she and Judith would go to the apartment through the day but would always return at night. Had she just left him it may have saved them both. This little girl basically took care of her family. The house they were living in her money bought
What about Brandon Lee, Chris Farley and John Belushi, instead of Ray Liotta, Betty White, and Norm Mcdonald. If you're going to add Norm Macdonald from cancer you need to put in Patrick Swayze. This list needs to be updated!!
They were talking about the death of Norm MacDonald and his propensity and skill of telling jokes; they quoted the Beverly Hillbillies because Buddy Ebsen of the Beverly Hillbillies made some crack about the other guy not being able to tell a good joke. I think that is what you would call "really reaching." Lame as the day is long.
The end of All Dogs Go To Heaven hits harder knowing those were likely the final lines Judith Barsi recorded for the movie. Burt Reynolds had to record his lines for that scene shortly after being informed of her death.
Aah, Chadwick Boseman had the most magical laugh I have ever heard. I believe if they could have actually bottled that laugh, so many illnesses could have been cured.💜
He was carrying the two children at the time of the tragedy, the effects of the scene being shot mis fired. causing the pilot of the helicopter to lose control of the craft, killing all three.
Interesting fact on Vic Morrow: in ‘73 he took out a 1 million$ life insurance policy before he shot any scenes in a film he was in. He stated that he always had a premonition he would die in a helicopter crash. Also one of his daughters is actress Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Linda Darnell was a beautiful actress and died in a house fire; William Holden, an alcoholic, hit his head on a nightstand and died shortly thereafter. So many others that weren't mentioned that died much worse than some you had mentioned here.
Jayne was in the backseat but she moved her baby to the back and she took the front. Maybe they all should have been in the back. Some dogs died in the crash too
Poor Judy Garland was just one of a lot of child stars that got messed up then got into drinking and drugs. Most of those child stars were giving the drugs by the studios to perform long hours. She wasn’t just a great actress but also a great singer and an icon.
Garrote. One of the most horrific celebrity deaths ever, he was beaten to death with a tripod. To add to the terribleness of the tragedy, Crane's brain matter was found in the car of a man who he knew, yet police didn't think it enough to arrest the guy.
A fan expressed their anguish over social media for losing Phil Hartman ? In 1998 ? , What Social Media ? A letter to a Newspaper ? I was there - there wasnt crap
To the man that posted this video , he needs to get his facts straight . DO YOUR HOMEWORK , half of these actors and actresses didn't die a tragic death .
Sad about Marilyn Manroe and Sharon Tate and her friends. Sharon Tate was beautiful and all heads would turn and Sharon Tate was in Valley Of The Dolls and Fearless Vampire Killers. She was also in Wrecking Crew and she knew Bruce Lee. They became good friends.
Marilyn was murdered by "friends" of the Kennedy's, specifically Ted, bcos she was going to release her memoirs, which would've implicated both John & Robert.
Peter Lawford was involved, too, she didn't die in her bed, her body was found in a small room a good way way away from her room, she was moved into the bed to make it look like she took Nembutal, a barbiturate, of which none was found in her system at autopsy. Covered up from the word go.
Ray Liotta died in his sleep. It doesn't make any sense for his death to be included here as one of the worst ways to die. James Dean was NOT racing another car when his tragic crash happened. So ??
Ray Liotta death wasn’t “tragic”. Granted he died in a foreign country. He was an old man but he wasn’t young either. He had a good career and it wasn’t short.
@23:20: And Steven Parent, the first murder victim at the property. He didn't know anyone at the residence. He was there to visit the groundskeeper, Billy Garretson, who lived in the guest house.

I remember my 3 little brothers and I being dragged to the drive-in movie theater whenever Elvis had a new movie come out. the only good things were we got to sit in the bed of dad's truck and eat pizza, then lights would come on for intermission and we got to go to the playground until intermission was over.
Because he is still alive
@auntbelinda - Absolutely !
He was such a star, that the producers realized in the early 60's they didn't have to spend money and time on his movies as the returns $$$ would be the same.
How ironic the king died on his throne.
Anne Heche
Anton Yelchin
Brandon Lee
Heather O'Rourke
Heath Ledger
The list goes on...
Anton Yelchin, Heather O’ Rourke, and Brandon Lee were already mentioned.
River Phoenix?
Audie Murphy died a horrific death in a plane crash. He was 47.
Sharon Tate.. the most brutal.. sad.. and unfair death of all 😔..
And I can't stand it that she looked so forward to having her baby, its so sad it makes me sick
I live in Alaska and lived in Barrow for many years. The monument they put up in honor of these men was always so heart breaking to see. Just before you hit the Monument there is a place called Hollywood. A movie was filmed there and all the structures were still standing and used by the locals for camping. I stayed there many times.
That thumbnail picture of Abigail Folger was uncalled for, It was just not right may she Rest in Peace 🙏
👍
This is full of errors and inaccuracies.... Not worth watching!!!
I grew up in the 70s i remember sneaking into the movie theater with friends to watch enter the dragon RIP Bruce Lee
i don't understand why some of these were on the list lol, when people like anton yelchin, who was pinned by his own car and died slowly, or bob crane, who was beaten to death, weren't....
You should rename this video to "30 Actors who died"
Social media needs to redefine their definition of a "Worst Way to Die". Some of these deaths, while sad and/or untimely can best be described as fairly normal, a natural consequence of aging, or the logical outcome of a lethal habit. I'm not saying they were not sad, simply that they don't rise to the definition of dying in the "worst way."
Bob Crane
Elvis Presley(singer & ACTOR)
Heather O'Rourke
Johnny Wactor
Anissa Jones
Audie Murphy
and many more
Thank you I was thinking Bob Crane it was a big deal when I was a kid
I heard that Elvis died when he fell face-first into a chocolate cake,at the dinner table. You could say he died '🎶 In the gateaux🎶.
@@MarkBishop-rt3zl
That is stupid…. He died in
the bathroom…. from a terrible
problem w/ digestive problems….
He died just before the release of the movie. Giant with Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson. Not Rebel Without a Cause
He played IN ''Giant''.
No, it was ‘Rebel Without A Cause’ had just opened. He had just finished filming ‘Giant’ a few days before he died,
I heard that Jane Mansfield’s wig is what came off and that is what led witnesses to think she had been decapitated
AI really is awful.
How can you say that? Where else would you learn that Norm MacDonald was on or maybe involved with The Beverly Hillbillies.
One of the biggest tragedies I remember, didn't make your list. It's John Belushi's tragic Overdose in March 1982. I was so Shocked that such a good & promising Comedian, likely the 1970s Lou Costello, had died.
John Candy
@wc3617 Thank You for your comment. Although I agree that it was A Great Tragedy, at least he had a death that was A Natural Causes, unlike John Belushi, death. Let me know what you think (Candy was A Great Talent).
Just my opinion but Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood.
Wagner.
Yes he did!!
No,just a correction.The name is Wagner,not Wagener.For the rest...
@@jean-michelcagnac And I'm sure you NEVER made a mistake.
Off course,not!(lol)😉😉😉🤔🤔🤔
You might want to learn the correct pronunciation of the actor's names.
TTS dont got no brain's.
Dean didn't die in a car race. He died in a race car, but he was traveling to a race, not in the race itself.
Judith Barsi's passing is the saddest one.
It’s even sadder when you realize that her mother had decided to leave her father. She was afraid to completely leave him so she and Judith would go to the apartment through the day but would always return at night. Had she just left him it may have saved them both. This little girl basically took care of her family. The house they were living in her money bought
It's up there.
A lot of unnecessary video effects added to make the videos and picture look like an old newsreel. Very amateurish.
Better than I could do
No mention of Brandon Lee or John Erik Hexum
What about Brandon Lee, Chris Farley and John Belushi, instead of Ray Liotta, Betty White, and Norm Mcdonald. If you're going to add Norm Macdonald from cancer you need to put in Patrick Swayze. This list needs to be updated!!
Why were you playing the Beverlyhill Billies when taking about Norm MacDonald?
That is what I was wondering.
We know the voice is AI generated for this video, but maybe the entire video was put together by AI.
What the Hell? I think they ran two stories together or something.
What about The Black Dalia...........
I can’t believe you left out The King Elvis Presley, Jim Morrison, and actor Bob Crane.
My love for Jim burns eternal but does he count as Hollywood??? One appearance on the ed Sullivan show exactly counts
The end of All Dogs Go To Heaven hits harder knowing those were likely the final lines Judith Barsi recorded for the movie. Burt Reynolds had to record his lines for that scene shortly after being informed of her death.
I don't think Ray Liotta's death was one of the worst ways to die.
This shouldn't be titled "worst ways". Some died in their sleep!!
Chadwick B had cancer as well as many other actors but they stood strong in their careers! Kudos to them!
He was so darn cool
Aah, Chadwick Boseman had the most magical laugh I have ever heard. I believe if they could have actually bottled that laugh, so many illnesses could have been cured.💜
Can't be bothered with the black spots. I got a few minutes in and decided I didn't need that bs.
Like a bunch of annoying flies.
Same here. The comments section is more informative.
River Phoenix
Freddy prinz
Chris Farley
John Candy
Robin Williams
Bruce Lee
Brandon Lee
Andre the Giant
Definitely the murder of Sharon Tate, it was horrific close to decade of music and love, so senseless!!😢
That was horrible but the little girl murdered by her father was the worst.
How about Butterfly McQueen (Gone With the Wind and Mildred Pierce) and Linda Darnell (Forever Amber and Unfaithfully Yours) who died due to fires?
James Dean car is truly haunted
Morrow’s is one of the worst deaths
He died trying to save the lives of the two children who were in the scene as he was.
He was carrying the two children at the time of the tragedy, the effects of the scene being shot mis fired. causing the pilot of the helicopter to lose control of the craft, killing all three.
Good one Landis; they would have raped your ass off in jail...
Interesting fact on Vic Morrow: in ‘73 he took out a 1 million$ life insurance policy before he shot any scenes in a film he was in. He stated that he always had a premonition he would die in a helicopter crash. Also one of his daughters is actress Jennifer Jason Leigh.
You should do one with Dana Hill, that story always gets to me. She was in Magnum PI, the Vacation movie, and a host of others, thanks!
Rudolf Valentino, Bob Crane, Both Superman actors George Reeves and Christopher Reeves, honorable mention.
Why on earth would you use Abigail’s death photo as your thumb nail? That is incredibly insensitive.
Abigail's nickname is Gibby, not Abby.
Jane Manfield death has saved lives because of what happened many that mansfield bars were fitted to lorries
Some dogs died in the crash too
The wizard of oz will always be my favorite movie..
Poor Judy Garland was just one of a lot of child stars that got messed up then got into drinking and drugs. Most of those child stars were giving the drugs by the studios to perform long hours. She wasn’t just a great actress but also a great singer and an icon.
Carol Lombard was the love of Clark Gables life, he was never the same after her death....
You forgot Robin Williams.
So did the rest of the world........that's why he's dead
Was Bob Crane on here? Did i miss him?? He was the guy on Hogan's heroes that was found beaten to death and had a garrett around his neck.
Garrote. One of the most horrific celebrity deaths ever, he was beaten to death with a tripod. To add to the terribleness of the tragedy, Crane's brain matter was found in the car of a man who he knew, yet police didn't think it enough to arrest the guy.
@@hellradiolives he was BIG into porn.. he might a tried to blackmail someone.
You really don’t know how to pronounce Sal Mineo’s name?
AI generated. Not human
and Cabot
A fan expressed their anguish over social media for losing Phil Hartman ? In 1998 ? , What Social Media ? A letter to a Newspaper ? I was there - there wasnt crap
No Bob Crane???
George Reeves too.
99 year old Betty White makes it but 27 year old Anton Yelchin being crushed between his car doesn't?
To the man that posted this video , he needs to get his facts straight . DO YOUR HOMEWORK , half of these actors and actresses didn't die a tragic death .
You made excuses for a lot of these actors. They died of drug overdoses.
Please cut out the black and white flashes. Very annoying.
If anyone is interested in seeing Carole Lombard at her screwball best, check out My Man Godfrey also starring William Powell. It's a great old movie!
who the hell ordered these? and how is Anne Heche not on this list?
I always thought Sharon Tate murder was the most horrific way to die.
Poor Rebecca 😭 why did you have to say his name. He deserves no credit or fame for what he did.
Sad about Marilyn Manroe and Sharon Tate and her friends. Sharon Tate was beautiful and all heads would turn and Sharon
Tate was in Valley Of The Dolls and Fearless Vampire Killers. She was also in Wrecking Crew and she knew Bruce Lee.
They became good friends.
The fake dirt and blurriness are very annoying.
Really. There should be a warning for people who have seizure disorders or migraines.
Bullroar
@@judithgannon5642???
No mention of Dorothy Dandridge? Her death was tragic too🤦🏾♀️
Ray Liotta died in his sleep. It doesn't make any sense for his death to be included here as one of the worst ways to die. James Dean was NOT racing another car when his tragic crash happened. So ??
Very disrespectful using Abigail Folger as a Thumb Nail.
Why a clip of The Beverly Hillbillies during the piece on Norm McDonald? Is there some correlation i'm missing?
This smooth brained half-ass thought he was Jethro
Ray Liotta death wasn’t “tragic”. Granted he died in a foreign country. He was an old man but he wasn’t young either. He had a good career and it wasn’t short.
The best book to read on Sharon Tate's death is "Helter Skelter."
7:20 Judy Garland was so pretty...I had a massive crush on her when I was a kid and saw her in Wizard Of Oz.
So no Elizabeth Short aka the Black Dahlia or Brandon Lee ?? bit of a surprise there
Jayne Mansfield was so beautiful!
There was no social media when Phil was shot by his wife
@23:20: And Steven Parent, the first murder victim at the property. He didn't know anyone at the residence. He was there to visit the groundskeeper, Billy Garretson, who lived in the guest house.
Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Voytek Fryowski, AND Steven Parent.
I knew that list sounded short
Thank you, I thought the same, and commented before I read yours.
Robin Williams is who shocked me the most and not even on this list
I just like the old photos😊
Ray Liotta died in his sleep…how is that one of the worst ways to die?
