A good start from a very good Union man. Kenny Cooper ran a great local and I'm sure this is just the first step to improving things for our membership. I've been retired for years, but I worked out of Kenny's jurisdiction a lot in the 90's. He treated traveller's really well and he stood up for the members with real strength on many occasions. I personally will not see much from this but I think younger guys will see Brother Cooper do much more in years to come.
I found the video, hard to hear - did it say that anyone who retires after Jan 1 2025, will receive $33 per year of service around Nov. of 2025? Is this a one time gift? or a yearly payment? Thank you

Current retirees will receive a one time 13th check by the end of the year.
I'm sure they sign you up for the cheapest Medicare advantage garbage they can find as well.
