Why do you say that? She gets them to talk, she doesn't interupt them to get her own "artistic angle" on everything in there, and she lends a free floating, uncombed and unpolished air to the interview. I don't know if this is the way it really is, but these interviews seem less "staged" and more honest and personal. It's not the interviewer's role to "come out on top," you know.
I am a huge fan of Hoffman and have followed his whole career and I also have more than enough experience with drugs, it was just a clever joke about a celebrity none of us even knew. A matter of fact the man lived about 30 mins away from me
I really think the interviewer isn't very professional because she makes so much of the responses she gets into personal challenges which upstage the people she's interviewing. The interview isn't supposed to be about the interviewer.
+devodave05 No he's not. He's sober at this time, and had been for 22 years. He fell off the wagon in the last 4 months of his life and sadly nobody was able to intervene in his collapse. So tragic -- especially for his 3 little children
Hoover Head OK not that being on the gear makes a fucking difference as to what kind of man he was, You CAN be on gear and most people wont even know. Especially if you've been using a while. I know PLENTY of users that work as doctors, lawyers and so on and they do their job well.
Hoover Head You have no idea what you're talking about. I was a functioning addict for eleven years. Only in the last 2 years did it become a problem. And no, with a heavy user it's often VERY difficult to tell. Suggest you stick to topics you understand.
Hoover Head Oh and the drug itself, provided you're getting clean gear ( and in Australia, I did) is not that much of a problem. In fact it's cleaner than many of the pharma drugs you can get legally. You seem to have this idea that all users are cooking up black tar with puddle water in a bus stop or something. Not the case.
One of the most beautiful bears in the world...... Philip, you was beautiful and I miss you....
he was.
RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Please post the entire conversation!

Too early departure. How I want to see your act in your 60s, 70s, 80s...

you think that makes you experienced or better than any of us? sounds like the drugs have rattled your brain unusable.
RIP SEY
way too soon an actor to have passed
great movie but whoever does the closed caption should be fired as the words being said do not even come close what is closed caption on the screen

fast forward to 2.02 and listen to that woman's crazy laugh, jesus christ.
Riiiight
I like her too.
His beard rubs on the mic. lol
That woman on the right is tipsy. Kind of obvious. Good interview anyways....
I totally disagree, I like her style
What the hell is Philip drinking...
Just jokes with somebody.
what'the hell is wrong with his hair? Love PSH! R.I.P.
The hair is more or less his signature style. Expression of his inner activity kinda thing. One of my favorite actors to watch.
hes wasted in this video
