This is similar to a recent situation I had on one of my first successful attempts to get to the lift when getting Freddy to parts and service, and right before I reached the button, I was in the process of being chased by Monty. This is what I said (paraphrasing here because I can't fully remember it and I'm too lazy to sift through the stream to quote it,);
"FREDDY!"

"FREDDY WE NEED TO GO NOW!"

I just gave up at that point. This was before I found out there was a save point at the stairs before the showtime control desk, and well before (and I'm talking SEVERAL HOURS WORTH OF GAMEPLAY) I found out there was a save point right by the lift.
Least I found a skip that allows me to completely bypass the False Wolf, leaving only the carping self-replicating part-enderman Monty in the way of me saving Freddy. (Who, might I add, in my specific sub-universe, is also part-enderman. He... just watch the streams and find out.

The funniest part of all this for me is Gregory's expression when he's mashing the button on his watch. That stare could burn a hole through a vault door.
For me it's the fact that he's pressing the button so fast that it looks like his arm isn't even moving. I never thought anyone could animate that.
So THAT is why Freddy did not respond. Gregory’s stare broke the watch! It makes so much sense!
the fact that monty can move in so many unintended ways where he just walks as if he is standing still and literally flying 1000000000 miles an hour is just amazing and shows how much work the creators put into making this game completely glitchless and perfect, no mistakes especially in this one character
Yeah there’s no glitches where moon gets on slide or Monty being depressed after you Kenobi him or where chica goes through walls

Definitely no bug where roxy goes through the walls when she misses her lunge, or where freddy is able to open doors when he gets near them despite the player not having access to them yet
Monty is suppose to move quicker then the other animatronics, just like an alligator would. theres shoes that you can get to upgrade your movement speed, mark found the shoes only after he dealt with monty. but i agree theres many bugs in the game

Honestly it was entirely Mark's fault. How could Freddy do anything if he was further away than Monty and Mark was running? Instead of trying to play well and duke, Mark just whined at Freddy to magically save him.
