I was playing recently and was in the main atrium, a security bot saw me so Roxy teleported directly to my face said “you are nothing” then immediately teleported away. I have never felt so hurt from a game.

I have to feel like Mark held back A LOT during the playthrough, ESPECIALLY in the last few episodes.
Well if the lack of a save function was in the way of finding all the endings, yeah i'd be drained from playing it too. Especially dying to bugs like he did in the last 3 eps.

I'd like to think that Mark is the most unfortunate one when it comes to bugs. "I'm not blaming the game, I'm actually kind of impressed." Is the best and most accurate line to the entire game in general.
I think that one was actually intentional tho? Like mark said he technically didn't hit the button and Help Wanted had lots of those gimmicks were you had to be processed (pretty much the entirety of the repair minigames, the slightest mistake in those could have gotten you killed and I'm pretty sure that this part of the game is based off of those minigames)
@@springles7775 yeah, on the other games, like back in Sister Location, if you missed the buttons, you would also die instantly. Even if it was missed by a pixel.
I got less than half of these bugs while playing so seems like it.
I have encountered every bug he has throughout my playthrough, including Freddy not being able to open his hatch during the quest where you need to find a way to put chica in the trash compactor. The only thing I didn't screw up was the buttons when upgrading Freddy. In fact, I found another bug that he did not. If you use the laser on a wet floor sign, roxy, no matter how far away she is, will come sprinting towards it

I dont think thats really a bug, freddy just goes to where you were when you summoned him, so if you move after you summon him, he'll just go to where you were before you moved.

freddy ditching mark is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen. It’s even better when you realize the only reason he did it, is because he called freddy while being on top of the stairs. freddy will just run there, and if you’re already gone from that point, you have to call him again

@@GippyHappy yeah, that's exactly it. They could easily (then again, I'm not a programmer) fix that by cancelling past commands and only following most recent commands (specifically for faz-watch items, especially calling)

1:25 im surprised they took the time to model the inside of chica's head which you theoretically never get to see. i think what happened is that they realized that this clipping was a bug that was probably too much of a hassle to fix for such a small thing, so instead they just decided to model the interior of the figure and make it seem a little more intentional

better clipping than making a huge hitbox to a point you would get stuck in even large doors because of an animatronic on it, probably made like that to be rendered better

The only parts they modeled were parts that could be visible behind the eyes, so a warm peach color in the background and the visible endo-skeleton. You can see that stuff, just not 100% of it.

It is unintentional. As someone who is currently learning this sort of animation, I can say for certain that they fucked up the animation somehow; either the original animation is that and it’s just lazy, or they made a high quality animation and it’s framerate was massively reduced by some bug when they added it to the game.
It may actually be intentional (I've seen entities move at slow framerates sometimes in other games), but they usually only do so when they're either far away or completely out of sight of the player, so the fact that some S.t.a.f.f. bots do this anyway when you're looking right at them may be a bug

fun fact: the “glitch” that made freddy completely miss mark entirely was not actually a glitch. freddy doesn’t pathfind to you, he actually pathfinds to the area where you initially called for him.

Many areas feel like they were meant for a different purpose, or were supposed to be visited at a different point in the game before being shuffled around last minute. he was annoyed but he still enjoyed the game, he did say that after he beats it he's going to wait for the bugs cause like, he uses steam obviously, so the notes from steel wool are visible. so he is aware they're fixing it. But like he's annoyed, I mean I'd be annoyed too.
You can tell he was let down by it overall, which is understandable given how broken and unfinished it is.
@@iamferby4144 lmao what?? the glitches aren't limited to the models looking a bit funny or saying something weird, many of the bugs severely get in the way of a good gameplay experience for players
- freddy frequently just runs past gregory or just does not come at all, causing players to get stuck in areas or die and lose progress
- freddy in general is a buggy mess, which doesn't bode well for the game when he is the main game mechanic driving the whole thing; there's bugs where people just can't enter or exit his chest cavity, or get stuck in or out of recharge stations rendering him basically useless
- certain game mechanics will just not work for some reason, causing players to effectively be locked out of playing the game as it's meant to be played; the map, blaster/camera, and multiple hiding spots being a few examples
- the terrible ai tracking of the other animatronics take away from any sort of suspense that the game might have, not to mention their janky teleporting and spawning; they can literally spawn ONTOP of the player, how is this not detrimental to the gameplay experience? players (including markiplier) have lost hrs and hrs of progress due to this
- the player can just, phase through walls. not much to say here, when crouching jumping or just hiding somewhere gregory can phase through the game level. in fact, the other animatronics do this too seemingly randomly as well- which isn't great when the enemies that are chasing you can sometimes just go through walls and doors to catch you, it's frustrating because no matter how good the player is there is no way to avoid this bug
- animations can bug out and keep repeating for the other animatronics, causing players to get stuck in neverending sequences with them forcing them to either reload a save or die purposefully and restart if they are on the no save portion of the game, costing them their entire progress
- plot important dialogue not playing for whatever reason! sometimes it's just lore stuff, *sometimes* it's essential instructions for what the player is meant to do next.
there are some funny bugs here and there but the majority of what people are complaining are the ones where it screws the players over and just makes the game not very fun to play
Mark is forever cursed to have games always break on him but also blessed to have perfect comedic timing
I remember thinking that 3:18 might've been intentional before i saw how glitchy the rest of the game was, like parts of the building morphing into the old pizzaria for a minute.
The part where Freddy runs past him and leaves him to die at the hands of Monty, while hilarious, sadly wasn't a bug or a glitch. When you called Freddy, he would go to wherever you were when you hit the button, and if you pressed it multiple times, he would go to each location in order, so you had to wait for him to go through the list. So it wasn't a bug or a glitch, just really dumb game design.
Personally I love that it’s like that, as goofy as it is. Especially for the moment we got.

Mark got literally every single glitch and bug possible whereas Coryxkenshin didnt encounter a single one (besides i think an elevator glitch) 😂 but the way Mark handles the glitches which such fatherly disappointment is hilarious
He encountered several glitches and bugs, IE the Mazercise issue and the teleporting of animatronics. Mark was just seriously unfortunate.

@@brokenspirit274 apparently, going off of what I've read is that the problem is that the map is so big, you could very easily lose the animatronics, so to make up for it, they made it so the animatronics teleport. The main thing that I've seen that I don't know if they changed it as of late but if you get caught by a security bot, an animatronic will teleport behind you and will continue to teleport behind you to keep up as you try to escape. It's more so a game design issue than anything else.
The service bots running at a lower fps than their surroundings actually looks really good, I kinda wanna see more games do that.

Everyone here impressed with the amount of glitches, and here I am impressed at Marks super human comedic timing. Example 3:52 most people would have been baffled or complain about the glitch but Mark doesn’t miss a beat and just rolls with it.

A npc disappearing happens all the time in every game. It is not something most people would have complained about bruh.
Something to note about this game is that the poly models are so unnecessarily high poly for no reason which is why the game is like 80 GB. If they had actually baked down the high poly textures onto low poly models it would still have the effect of it being high poly while being low poly. They completely ignored actual game pipeline in game development.
The thing is, they didn’t. It’s Mark’s PC that causes the lag (he set it to the lowest settings later).
@@sirlegitimate I dont think you understand. When you turn raytracing on, the game has to load each and every individual polygon for a whole model to be raytraced in it's entirety. So when you have a model that is a couple hundred thousand polys because you didnt bake down onto a lowerpoly model, it will lag severely with raytracing turned on. In most cases, in this game, the models could have been baked down from a couple hundred thousand to maybe 10 thousand and thats being generous. Even in 3D modeling software like Maya, the program will crash in a lot of cases where you have a single model with thousands upon thousands of polys like that. Also, if you were to even open up a file that size, it would take what feels like forever to load. No lets just add on raytracing to that and boom. Your program crashes. Another thing, Mark is rich and I garuntee you he has a godly gaming pc that should be able to handle raytracing. It really just boils down to how the game had nothing baked down.
@@sirlegitimate i would like to think that the amount of people complaining about the stuttering plus the amount of loading issues mark had even on lowest settings would be a sign that they couldve optimised stuff, plus i would like to think that mark would have a good pc seeing as almost everything he does would revolve around his pc. And its true they couldve baked down the textures so that the game isnt 80gb, i mean yeah the game is big but i would say with proper space optimisation it could be down to 30-40gb just from looking at other games that are a similar overall size in gameplay

And Im guessing it does count bugs because its data that has to be loaded from somewhere whether its a bug, glitch or whatever responding to Dank Memes

What happened to roxy (stuck in walking animation) is perhaps one of the only times where the glitchyness of the game truely hindered mark in playing properly, as in he wasn't able to get further unless he died. The other times it seemed to just be some low-tier annoyance or fun to watch the animatronics get stuck, but that single zone was the only place I personally would've lost my marbles at, just cuz of how bs having an entire damn 'animatronic stuck not being able to do what it's supposed to so you can progress' is. That wasn't nessisaraly a bug? That was her spawn location, she didn't as she was supposed to and spawned in the location. The dev's could have made sure that animatronics couldn't actually spawn by putting a check for it, but that's not really a bug, just a missing feature I guess
@@springles7775 That is a bug though since the attribute (the location of the respawn) of the feature (respawning) behaves in an unintended way in practice (doesn't take into consideration the player's position and could, therefore, respawn on top of the player)
@@lode-star again less of a bug cuz chica is behaving exactly as intended, that is one of the many places she is allowed to spawn and therefore did her job correctly, game is functioning as it's supposed to, it's just inconvenient to the player. Hence the reason why I'm saying it's not technically a bug, it's missing a useful aspect that could be added in to make it less inconvenient for the player, but is technically behaving as it should.

A part of me feels bad that we let the industry get to the point where it's now commonplace to release a game before it's ready and just finish it later. Like we're demanding games come out earlier and earlier, and cry whenever a game gets delayed without realizing that this is what happens. I don't even know what we're supposed to do about it, because there's too many people who just don't care and preorder a game no matter what.

We affect how much wiggle room and crunch time devs get with hype, backlash and preorders, but we don't decide a deadline, the publishers do. Don't buy a game until it comes out, be vocal about how you feel towards games released before they're finished, and pray that things change.

I honestly appreciate how he tried not to complain about the insane amount of bugs and the lack of polish. I know I would have. He put a lot of effort into trying to be courteous and non-critical.
Edit: after seeing his most recent two episodes, my statement has only become more true at this point. It’s seriously disappointing that the game is like this.
The way I see it, with a fnaf game that’s much more of a step-up from the other games than it realistically should be, can you really blame the game being a bit (sometimes a lot) buggy? I do think trying to make this game work with ray tracing was a stretch though they probably would’ve been better off not doing that so they could focus more on fixing glitches and performance issues.

I like how Mark doesn’t use a crazy expensive duel gaming rig. Don’t get me wrong, his single computer is probably more expensive than a lot of our set ups lol. I'm pretty sure that isn't a bug, the animatronics can open doors, the reason it looked like a bug was because of the fact that in the security minigame it locks them out, but when you are not in the minigame mode than it functions like all of the other doors in the game
The fact this video is over seven and a half minutes long says something about the game. And the fact the game is still fun after this also says something.
