The reason freddy said that is because he needs a recharge station to recharge and they are only available in the pizzaplex but turns out he can be recharged using a car battery

Isn't springtrap the big antagonist of fnaf, and now he is dead, so I don't see much for what could be left. (Idk fnaf lore my friend explained it to me because this is the only fnaf game I've played)
It feels like every time we think we know all there is to know about the lore, a new game comes out and makes everything even more confusing than it was before.

To be fair it was a perfectly straight road, it’s possible to start a car and then hold the pedal without knowing how to drive. Although I myself would probably instantly die the moment I touch the steering wheel, but Gregory is pretty smart and calculating throughout the game so it would be no problem for him to figure the car controls out. Also he hit a map bot on the way, so maybe he still is not that great at driving

For a while, I thought the "stars" at the end of each end sequence represented the number of characters who 'survived' the events that led to that. 3 star VIP ending because Vanessa, Freddy, and Gregory all survived it, 1 star for the runaway ending because the only real survivor was Freddy, the rest were 2 star because it's Gregory and Freddy who survive together. But now I realize that doesn't quite fit with the 'disassemble vanny' ending which is also 2 star, but only with one main character who appeared to survive those events...
I think its just ending rating, rating how good the ending is, which spurs you on more to find the rest of the endings and essentially playing the game fully
The most gruesome ending is the one where Vanny gets disassembled, keep in mind that she is NOT an ANIMATRONIC! Don’t try to picture it in your head too much…
I don’t get why people hate the comic endings so much, I think it’s pretty cool. Plus, they put so much effort into the rest of the game so it makes sense.
because it's a weird ass shift. when I watched Mark's first ending of the game, where Freddy dies or something, I couldn't take what was happening seriously because the shift was so sudden. not to mention the tone and pacing was so off...I couldn't help but laugh in disbelief. you can't even really call it a stylistic choice, or at least a good one, because that style doesn't show up in ANY other part of the game. it makes it seem like they ran out of budget or something.
The Afton ending is the real one we know because it´s presented in 3d, whereas the other endings are in comic style. The other endings provide crucial pieces of lore. From the fire escape ending we know Vanessa is not Vanny, yet they have the same face (it´s confusing). From the leave ending we know Gregory couldń´t return home for some reason.
Vanessa is vanny though she’s not actually there she’s metaphorically there on top of the building. That’s her true spiritual self watching over the events and her actual body is the version of her corrupted by afton

This kinda makes me belive MattPat's theory about the time traveling ball pit. That would explain why Gregory was so confused in the beginning of the game, why Freddy couldn't identify him at first, and why he didn't go to his family immediately after escaping. Gregory's behavior just seems odd for someone who is apparently "lost".
Yeah should the true ending be more enjoyable? I mean it was but we have no idea if freddy and Gregory survived and even if they did how would they go back up the elevator was a 1 way trip. And that fact the ending was 2 stars is suspicious. Maybe there a ending we don't even know yet?
The princess quest ending route is very interesting. I like to believe that the princess is Vanessa trying her best to battle against afton’s control and set herself free.
@@cadelltalks9366 pretty sure they are the same people, the one on the roof is most likely Vanessa's spirit trapped in the pizza plex like how the dead children were trapped in the older games.
My favorite ending is the one where Gregory sort of cures Vanessa, and then him, Freddy's head, and Vanessa just go out for ice cream on a hill, chilling.
What I think is the cannon ending: Freddy and Gregory faced off with burntrap and burnt the place down, then when they were almost out Vanny caught them and disassembled Freddy so gregory ran away to his box bed and when found by Vanny he realized that Vanessa wasn’t evil anymore and she retrieved Freddy’s head so now they’re just chilling on a cliff
My hypothesis on why Vanessa is found looking down at her body is because that's mostly her spirit. Her eyes look dead because she is literally forever stuck in that room from the Help Wanted VR game. Yes, we've stopped Afton (for now) but without her body and someone from the outside releasing her, she's forever stuck. That's terrifying by itself.
OK this makes a lot of sense because I’m like what purpose would there be if they had a look-alike that means she’s stuck there if the MatPat theory is true with Afton and all of the dead kids

In the 3rd ending (rooftop) when Freddy pushes Vanny off the building Vanessa the security guard is seen on the rooftop looking down at them. Maybe Vanessa is a twin?
It also could have nothing to do with the lore. An example would be Junko from Danganronpa, while she's one character there are 2 VAs: one to voice her when she's sane and another to voice her when she's crazy in despair. Doesn't denote the fact that she's only one character though
Actually this an audio bug, on a good bit of watching this persons video, you can hear repeated parts of audio, even in my own play through of this game, I got like a weird repeating bug sound as well.
Is it just me or is there something deeply heartbreaking and upsetting about seeing Vanessa at the end of rhe fire ending ? It does look like she's trapped there, I l mean the exit is visible on the image, and she doesn't seem upset about the fire at all despite it surrounding her. She's just shocked and terrified at rhe sight of her own dead body lying on the street. It really is the saddest ending, no one wins, Gregory loses his friend, Vanessa dies, and even tho the Pizzaplex burns down who knows how long it'd take for whatever is hiding underneath it to cause chaos again.
Actually the “real” ending is very similar to the road trip one both Freddy and Gregory made it out only difference is afton got kidnapped by the glob and it’s not as bad ass
For Afton to be back, this has honestly hit so much harder for the lore. This honestly makes me anticipate the next FNAF release whether it'd be video game, comic, or cartoon. Very well made game
The princess quest ending is the best in my opinion. Gregory finally has a mother figure (not saying a mother, but a mother figure seeing as he was homeless and an orphan) Freddy got out... Partially, and Vanessa is free of burntraps / glitchtraps influence and therefor her vanny side.
I actually dislike it only because... that's not how Dissociative Identity Disorder works at all 😂 Like bro I had it and it takes years of therapy to have your persecutors and avengers reincorporated into a calmer identity as a person.

Well, it is proven that Gregory is homeless. As for Gregory's parents, he's either an orphan or he ran away from home. If he ran away from home, it may be why he's featured in the newspaper as missing in the "Leave" ending. There is one photo there that sort of resembles him, but I'm not sure about it.
there's a time traveling ball pit (yes i know it is actually real Scott Cawthon wrote the books it's in) so theory is that Gregory got lost in the ball pit
He is homeless because his father is long dead. Frankly speaking, it is not known what happened with the mother and if she does still alive. Although I assume that she died before "The bite of 83". I think this entire facility is an allegory to how the soul of a kid bitten by Freadbear was set free. Take a look at the last scene of "real ending" and the last scene from FFPS. Freddy and Gregory are sitting in the same place where the distant, illegible tombstone in FFPS. Freddy is a Freadbear
Honestly even tho I've just now this year mustered up the strength to watch any FNAF series, I've realized that there's so much lore and extra details that all tie the franchise together. So many details and extra scenes that are easy to miss. Although it's very confusing, I do think overall FNAF is a very cool and interesting franchise
I love the lore they made in this game, but, all of these endings feel so unfinished. And the game in general feels unfinished. I love the story and Freddy calling the player superstar, but I guess I’m just a bit disappointed when the ending is a comic and not something you get to play.

I think its done on purpose, the "true ending" is in 3d and playable, and the others are in comic because they're not exactly "real", they're just meant to show what would happen if these other situations played out but the true ending is the canonical one
I don't mind the comic endings after I realised what they mean, they are not the real ending, only the fully animated one is. Still even the fully animated one could have had a longer cutscene. I love a lot of stuff about this game, hope it gets polished and re-released, it deserves it :)
There was more to the story but it got cut, we were supposed to see more about Vanessa and vanny but it got cut cause of budget reasons and also because they had to finish the game quick and they didn’t have enough time
I’m pretty sure Freddy’s whole battery system is in his head. In the Princess quest ending, Freddy’s head survives, and in the one with the van, Gregory wires the car batteries into Freddy’s ears.
When William Afton said "I always come back" in FNAF 3 and 4 didn't really scare me at first, but then I see SpringTrap, and that send chills to my spine
Its to show the difficulty of the ending, for example getting the first ending is the easiest cause you just leave the pizza plex without playing the princess quest games, finding vannys room, etc, etc. hope this helps!
So what I personally take from the Afton ending is that the mega pizzaplex is built above the old "sister" location. My thought process behind that is: the sister location is deep underground, the Afton ending takes place deep underground; an elevator is required to access both of them; the thing that reaches down and grabs Afton is not molten Freddy, rather it is a burned Funtime Freddy which is made clear by the colors and the way the faceplates open. I have more connections between the two but I don't feel like typing them all out
@@cozypoke1246 Respectfully, I must disagree based on the color plate of the creature and the 6-sectioned faceplate. The colors don't match to molten freddy, and molten Freddy had more than 6 sections in the faceplate.
The fact that Freddy literally says "it's time to end this" and burns down the Pizzaplex, to me reallyyyyyy confirms that Freddy was possessed by Michael when he saw Gregory (aka the "reborn crying child"), just like Matpat was telling us all along.

Mattpat was almost right about fighting afton in the end, except he thought it was gonna be a trash amalgamation of him and enerd not just afton himself who gets pulled up in the end by Enerd (the pile of moving cords that Funtime Freddy is attached to and that we saw in the first series of animated cartoons that held the coded numbers for the release date)

So in the true ending Afton basically is like "Oh crap this place is burning down again what the fuck come back I'm not done with you yet" and Molten freedy or whatever is inside of that thing be like "No YOU come back"
@@knightmare3706 Mark would attempt to hide inside Freddy, and Freddy would immediately spit him back out with Roxy standing right there. He got the ending while dodging Roxy the entire way. I don't think he glitched Roxy so much as he tried to shut the door and the game took that as an instant-kill clause... that didn't happen because he was just dancing around her.
You know, the weird bugs in this game make the game good in a way. Like the party bots Dancing then just disappearing into thin air, Freddy in the elevator then just disappearing, i find it funny
There are literally game breaking bugs. They should've waited before releasing the game so they could work out some of the bugs and glitches. I understand that games always have glitches, but they shouldn't be this bad. It just makes this game feel rushed.
My theory on why there is a lighter Freddy's finger is to light cakes, where Gregory sits is actually meant to store cake after all, and having it already lit could make him catch fire and melt from the inside. That would most likely traumatize kids, so it makes sense for Freddy to just have a lighter.
So in the True Ending, while Afton seems to be defeated by Funtime Freddy, (What’s he doing there by the way?), and burned, again, alongside the complex, Vanessa/Vanny may still be out, and still under control of Afton, yet Gregory and Freddy escaped (wonder how he’ll keep Freddy running). On the other hand, the Princess Quest ending sees Vanessa free from Afton’s control, escaping alongside Gregory and Freddy, who’s now just a head, however Afton still lives, alongside the Complex, and because of VR, we know Afton may have more followers, and as the “superior” of Fazbear Ent. He can always a bring someone to take over the complex as a new security guard by day, and a new serial killer on a rabbit costume at night. This leaves the door open for both a DLC or a new game in the franchise, to be direct sequel to this, and proceeding the story, accordingly to the ending you choose.
Since there's only one exit from underground complex, if somehow Afton got outside his room, he had to go near molten Freddy, so he would be captured anyway. That means the princess quest ending is best

I think Gregory was lured to the pizzaplex by Afton to be the next victim and to posses the body of Monty. Monty’s personality is unlike the others and very instinctual rather than rational which I think is from being full robot and not controlling a soul. By controlling Vanny, Afton was making her do the dirty work in it all. Gregory would become just another missing person. Also in princess quest it seems that you can collect a maximum of 6 hearts. Could this be the 5 original souls trying to help free Vanessa? Curious to see both springtrap and glitchtrap alive and kicking
If Glamrock animatronics are possessed, why does Glamrock Chica eats garbage? There's literally a kitchen in the Pizzaplex I think Gregory was lured but not for possessing Monty, he was lured for giving ramnent to Afton
In Wikipedia, it says "If Gregory decides to find Vanessa's "reward," he could retrieve several hidden CDs around the mall before finding a hidden room and playing the CDs, where Vanessa and an unknown woman talk to several therapists."
Okay so my boyfriend just came up with this theory: Everything is real in universe. Pizzaria simulator (and everything else) happened. Afton, Puppet, Ennard and Funtime Freddy were burned. The Pizza Plex was build around the "ruins" of the place where Pizzaria simulator took place. That's why, in the true ending, Funtime Freddy's head is held up by Ennard and Springtrap looks extremely broken, they've already been burned once. They're stuck in the same halls as before and are burned again. According to my bf, you can find a file in the game which says Vanessa is basically a shitty guard and it lists reasons why the Pizza Plex shouldn't hire her. Which makes me think she isn't actually hired. She's there looking for Vanny (which may be her sister or something? They look almost the same) while disguised as a guard. In Help Wanted, you play a female game tester, which tests out Help Wanted for a company. That's where Afton probably takes over and where the whole Vanny thing starts. Vanny may be stuck in the Pizza Plex and Vanessa wants to save her. My bf also states that you play a man in Pizzaria Simulator, who also burns himself while burning Afton. If the Pizza Plex is built around the place where Pizzaria Simulator took place, Gregory could also be explained in some way. He doesn't have parents and we don't know why he's in the Pizza Plex. He said that maybe, Gregory is the son of the man you play in Pizzaria Simulator. This would explain why Gregory is in the Pizza Plex (to search for his father, or clues of his father) and why he seems to be an orphan. The only weird thing my bf stated is that Afton/Springtrap doesn't talk. According to my bf, Afton has voice lines in EVERY SINGE GAME he is in. Even if it's just a few words. Springtrap doesn't say anything in this one, which is kind of weird. Could this mean something? I have no idea. Feel free to comment on or discuss this :)
Holy crap In FNAF VR, it's insinuated that Afton takes control of your body and leaves your consciousness in the game. So if I got the Princess Quest right, that's you freeing Vanessa from the confines of the game and giving her her body back
There's a glitch with the true ending, where you can keep Roxy aggravated onto you by sitting behind the bed, and whenever freddy is hacked you run to the computer and run back behind the bed, and you can keep doing that, it requires more burns but it works in the end for no reason.
With SB Ruin, one of the secret endings seem to show the results of ending 5, with Vannesa, Gregory on the hill. Although here has had glamrock freddys head, in Ruin HD has helpy. Does this mean ending 5 is the Canon ending? It's wierd as it has been assumed rightfully the Afton ending is the real one, so it makes me wonder what the truth is.

(Sorry in advence for my bad english) If you have played the ruin DLC you can find drawing surely made by gregory that show all the ending except the 5 in this video. Also at a moment in the DLC we get in the vanny room and if we equiped the mask we can see a sword in the arcade machine that can show that it has been deafeted. Before the DLC everyone was thinking that the efton ending was the cannon one because you have to do a lot to get it it’s the most complicated to complete and it’s the only one that show afton

To be fair it was a perfectly straight road, it’s possible to start a car and then hold the pedal without knowing how to drive. Although I myself would probably instantly die the moment I touch the steering wheel, but Gregory is pretty smart and calculating throughout the game so it would be no problem for him to figure the car controls out. Also he hit a map bot on the way, so maybe he still is not that great at driving

For a while, I thought the "stars" at the end of each end sequence represented the number of characters who 'survived' the events that led to that. 3 star VIP ending because Vanessa, Freddy, and Gregory all survived it, 1 star for the runaway ending because the only real survivor was Freddy, the rest were 2 star because it's Gregory and Freddy who survive together.
But now I realize that doesn't quite fit with the 'disassemble vanny' ending which is also 2 star, but only with one main character who appeared to survive those events...

because it's a weird ass shift. when I watched Mark's first ending of the game, where Freddy dies or something, I couldn't take what was happening seriously because the shift was so sudden. not to mention the tone and pacing was so off...I couldn't help but laugh in disbelief. you can't even really call it a stylistic choice, or at least a good one, because that style doesn't show up in ANY other part of the game. it makes it seem like they ran out of budget or something.

The Afton ending is the real one we know because it´s presented in 3d, whereas the other endings are in comic style. The other endings provide crucial pieces of lore. From the fire escape ending we know Vanessa is not Vanny, yet they have the same face (it´s confusing). From the leave ending we know Gregory couldń´t return home for some reason.

This kinda makes me belive MattPat's theory about the time traveling ball pit. That would explain why Gregory was so confused in the beginning of the game, why Freddy couldn't identify him at first, and why he didn't go to his family immediately after escaping. Gregory's behavior just seems odd for someone who is apparently "lost".

The princess quest ending route is very interesting. I like to believe that the princess is Vanessa trying her best to battle against afton’s control and set herself free.

It also could have nothing to do with the lore. An example would be Junko from Danganronpa, while she's one character there are 2 VAs: one to voice her when she's sane and another to voice her when she's crazy in despair. Doesn't denote the fact that she's only one character though

Actually this an audio bug, on a good bit of watching this persons video, you can hear repeated parts of audio, even in my own play through of this game, I got like a weird repeating bug sound as well.

It does look like she's trapped there, I l mean the exit is visible on the image, and she doesn't seem upset about the fire at all despite it surrounding her. She's just shocked and terrified at rhe sight of her own dead body lying on the street.
It really is the saddest ending, no one wins, Gregory loses his friend, Vanessa dies, and even tho the Pizzaplex burns down who knows how long it'd take for whatever is hiding underneath it to cause chaos again.

Well, it is proven that Gregory is homeless. As for Gregory's parents, he's either an orphan or he ran away from home. If he ran away from home, it may be why he's featured in the newspaper as missing in the "Leave" ending. There is one photo there that sort of resembles him, but I'm not sure about it.

Honestly even tho I've just now this year mustered up the strength to watch any FNAF series, I've realized that there's so much lore and extra details that all tie the franchise together. So many details and extra scenes that are easy to miss. Although it's very confusing, I do think overall FNAF is a very cool and interesting franchise

I love the lore they made in this game, but, all of these endings feel so unfinished. And the game in general feels unfinished. I love the story and Freddy calling the player superstar, but I guess I’m just a bit disappointed when the ending is a comic and not something you get to play.

I find the Stars on the end of each ending weird. The true ending has only two while the other with saving vanny, freddy and Gregory has three stars.
This is just a opinion but I think the stars show who escaped/left the Pizzaria but I'm not 100% sure about it

So what I personally take from the Afton ending is that the mega pizzaplex is built above the old "sister" location. My thought process behind that is: the sister location is deep underground, the Afton ending takes place deep underground; an elevator is required to access both of them; the thing that reaches down and grabs Afton is not molten Freddy, rather it is a burned Funtime Freddy which is made clear by the colors and the way the faceplates open. I have more connections between the two but I don't feel like typing them all out

There are literally game breaking bugs. They should've waited before releasing the game so they could work out some of the bugs and glitches. I understand that games always have glitches, but they shouldn't be this bad. It just makes this game feel rushed.
My theory on why there is a lighter Freddy's finger is to light cakes, where Gregory sits is actually meant to store cake after all, and having it already lit could make him catch fire and melt from the inside. That would most likely traumatize kids, so it makes sense for Freddy to just have a lighter.
So in the True Ending, while Afton seems to be defeated by Funtime Freddy, (What’s he doing there by the way?), and burned, again, alongside the complex, Vanessa/Vanny may still be out, and still under control of Afton, yet Gregory and Freddy escaped (wonder how he’ll keep Freddy running).
On the other hand, the Princess Quest ending sees Vanessa free from Afton’s control, escaping alongside Gregory and Freddy, who’s now just a head, however Afton still lives, alongside the Complex, and because of VR, we know Afton may have more followers, and as the “superior” of Fazbear Ent. He can always a bring someone to take over the complex as a new security guard by day, and a new serial killer on a rabbit costume at night.
This leaves the door open for both a DLC or a new game in the franchise, to be direct sequel to this, and proceeding the story, accordingly to the ending you choose.

In the good ending Gregory charges Freddy with a car battery so I'm guessing that's how he will keep him charged.

Since there's only one exit from underground complex, if somehow Afton got outside his room, he had to go near molten Freddy, so he would be captured anyway. That means the princess quest ending is best

What if Gregory actually manage to escape from her and that's why at the beginning in Freddy's room he said that he don't trust Vanessa? That's why Vanessa searching for him and also asked the other animatronic to capture him in the creepy way lol.. It's just my theory tho haha.. But why does Vanessa became Vanny? What is her story? Does she has anything to do with the disappearance of Bonnie? And why does there's that creepy creature in the basement?! So many questions 😂
If you have played Help Wanted, that game shows that Vanessa was possessed by Glitchtrap. Which explains why Vanny causes things to glitch around her

I think Gregory was lured to the pizzaplex by Afton to be the next victim and to posses the body of Monty. Monty’s personality is unlike the others and very instinctual rather than rational which I think is from being full robot and not controlling a soul.
By controlling Vanny, Afton was making her do the dirty work in it all. Gregory would become just another missing person.
Also in princess quest it seems that you can collect a maximum of 6 hearts. Could this be the 5 original souls trying to help free Vanessa?

Leaving via loading decks is by far the best Freddy and Gregory have a fun road trip and are buddies forever.
Okay so my boyfriend just came up with this theory:
Everything is real in universe. Pizzaria simulator (and everything else) happened. Afton, Puppet, Ennard and Funtime Freddy were burned. The Pizza Plex was build around the "ruins" of the place where Pizzaria simulator took place. That's why, in the true ending, Funtime Freddy's head is held up by Ennard and Springtrap looks extremely broken, they've already been burned once. They're stuck in the same halls as before and are burned again.
According to my bf, you can find a file in the game which says Vanessa is basically a shitty guard and it lists reasons why the Pizza Plex shouldn't hire her. Which makes me think she isn't actually hired. She's there looking for Vanny (which may be her sister or something? They look almost the same) while disguised as a guard. In Help Wanted, you play a female game tester, which tests out Help Wanted for a company. That's where Afton probably takes over and where the whole Vanny thing starts. Vanny may be stuck in the Pizza Plex and Vanessa wants to save her.
My bf also states that you play a man in Pizzaria Simulator, who also burns himself while burning Afton. If the Pizza Plex is built around the place where Pizzaria Simulator took place, Gregory could also be explained in some way. He doesn't have parents and we don't know why he's in the Pizza Plex. He said that maybe, Gregory is the son of the man you play in Pizzaria Simulator. This would explain why Gregory is in the Pizza Plex (to search for his father, or clues of his father) and why he seems to be an orphan.
The only weird thing my bf stated is that Afton/Springtrap doesn't talk. According to my bf, Afton has voice lines in EVERY SINGE GAME he is in. Even if it's just a few words. Springtrap doesn't say anything in this one, which is kind of weird. Could this mean something? I have no idea.

In FNAF VR, it's insinuated that Afton takes control of your body and leaves your consciousness in the game.
So if I got the Princess Quest right, that's you freeing Vanessa from the confines of the game and giving her her body back
There's a glitch with the true ending, where you can keep Roxy aggravated onto you by sitting behind the bed, and whenever freddy is hacked you run to the computer and run back behind the bed, and you can keep doing that, it requires more burns but it works in the end for no reason.

With SB Ruin, one of the secret endings seem to show the results of ending 5, with Vannesa, Gregory on the hill. Although here has had glamrock freddys head, in Ruin HD has helpy. Does this mean ending 5 is the Canon ending? It's wierd as it has been assumed rightfully the Afton ending is the real one, so it makes me wonder what the truth is.
I saw a comment saying all of them were canon like when the robots attacked Freddy and destroyed his stomach, of course the Aston one were everything is in rubble, and the headless ending how you said
(Sorry in advence for my bad english) If you have played the ruin DLC you can find drawing surely made by gregory that show all the ending except the 5 in this video. Also at a moment in the DLC we get in the vanny room and if we equiped the mask we can see a sword in the arcade machine that can show that it has been deafeted. Before the DLC everyone was thinking that the efton ending was the cannon one because you have to do a lot to get it it’s the most complicated to complete and it’s the only one that show afton
