There's a 4th type - status conscious type who just wants a prestige metal credit card to impress Beverly Hills cashiers and Midtown Manhattan waiters. These folks couldn't care less about the benefits or the fees.
Kinda like "Does anyone really "need" a Mercedes?"

Hello I am starting an Airbnb business and the person is asking to check my credit score which I don’t have at all. I don’t even own a credit card/ or credit score. Do you have a solution?
I have been with Bank of America for a few years and I only have debit card and all my money goes to my checking account.
What will be a great credit card for starters?

Congrats on your entrepreneur journey 👊🏞. The easiest and simplest recommendation I can give is the Chase Freedom Rise.
It's created for people with no credit score who are just starting out on their CC journey. You earn 1.5% cash back on everything, but can also use those points in the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal which gives you flexibility to redeem those rewards for anything and everything inside there.

@@TheRDGuarantee So actually a few days ago, I just got done applying for my first credit card. i applied for Discover Discover itÂŪ and added $200 to my Secured Card Application. At the age of 26, this will be my first ever credit card.
One of the main reasons i applied is to build good credit/ score. Now the question is can i use the Discovery credit card with my Bank of America checking account.? and how much can I pay a month?

I get targeted offers almost monthly for 150k on this card. I have never been tempted to apply. The value is really just not there for my spending/traveling needs. Maybe in the future I get it for one year then cancel since anyone can get positive value that first year.

I recently received the 150k targeted offer (or at least a targeted offer that could be valued up to 150k MR points upon approval). I was as tempted as I have ever been to add the card for a year and see how much value I could squeeze out of it.
In the end, I decided to go with the Capital One Venture X.
