The only way to win at slots, or more accurately lose less, is to realise you are not playing against the machine. You are playing against yourself.
There is no way to trick the machine. But your mind can be tricked.
Chasing losses. Betting more than you can afford to lose. Betting too much too quickly. Playing slots when you aren't actually having fun.
The key is to remain disciplined and in control. So your losses don't become huge losses. And your wins go in your pocket, not back into the machine.
It's really all chance and luck. You have to go in as this is for entertainment purposes and I don't expect to win.
I love early mornings because you can pick the machine you really want.

Yes, I played Timber wolf at NYNY. It was a little after midnight when I sat down. I won $3,000 dollars in less than 30 minutes.
I seem to always win in the morning when the casions are empty. Won a progressive at 630am at MGM last Monday. Won $500 at Golden Nugget the following morning.

Good times vary a bit from one venue to another. Early evenings are often good for me. Also I have found if a particular type of game is paying out at one place there's a good chance it will at another.
I would say late afternoons, or around midnight are the best times, I have found.
Not me Past midnight the machines are serviced.
The casinos do not reset their machines every day. It's not going to be more giving at midnight than at any other time of day. Go watch cowboy slots. He gives great tips ect.
There is a certain machine I play at the Flamingo that is near the high traffic volume door leading to the strip. I have experimented with that and found that at certain times of the day, it wins more often. My logic is that its near the door, the bells on the machine are loud and attract people into the casino. My logic has worked so far as I almost always win at that machine. TIMBO

I find I do something at top of hour or at the 30 minute. Ex: 10:05 or 1030. It just seems for about 10 min around this is when bonuses hit. Prob just in my head tho 🤣

As the both of you know, these machines don't have internal clocks. It's all random, doesn't matter if it's 1am or 1pm.
So it all depends on volatility and sometimes on the amount you bet based on the machine.
I enjoyed the game with the dice, the amount of wilds were determined by the dice count. You two got 5 wilds, imagine the payout if you had 9, 10, 11 or 12.
Liked the dragon foo game but not the lantern game. Mr. Ruby sunk $500.00 into it and never saw a bonus. He should have left after losing $200.00 as good what time it depends on the person and their strategy.
