The takeaway from the video for the most part seems to be idea that I just hate the game and pvm in general which isn't the case. There is a section of the video where I even talk about my experience with pvming and highlight some examples of things that are even fun for me. After reading comments and even having conversations with twitch chat, I can understand the fact it also just seems like a massivly negative video, blasting the game and I messed up by making the video this way and didn't execute it in the way it needed to be done to get my points across Going forward, I don't think I'm going to make more videos like this because the simple version of the entire video is just how I feel about playing the game, for myself at this exact current moment. It happens. But as many pointed it feels as if you're just not enjoying the game. This game do have a lot content, even roadmaps for future ones, almost 25y after release. You're not forced to play the game like the top1% of the PvMrs, do things your own way so long u have fun. And try to remember, in Runescape, being efficient, almost always means not having fun. Either doing a whole boss log at one go, Skilling to 99-120, or anything you do repeatedly for a LONG period of time, gets stale. Take a break, come back when we have combat mastery achievements, I hope you enjoy it.
loldude talks about only liking pvm, and then talks about how he doesnt like pvm sounds like this game might just not be for you man, idk, i like pvm and i like skilling
t100 weapons from the 110 skills DO offer something for PVM. They offer great entry affordable weapons. Ur points on the bow and price are sooo just incorrect, yes its 400m+ atm but it just came out lol. "Just use a nox bow" Like what? It is better than the nox bow by a significant margin. They are fantastic entry level weapons at that tier, not everyone enjoys switching and using specs, and they are fantastic options for low input players. To say they are "useless" is just factually wrong. Would a end game high level pvm player use them? No, but that isn't the audience for them.
I finally finished ALL quests and miniquests last week. It was such a breath of fresh air and relief. I can actually focus on stuff I want to do now. Not that I couldn't before, but that nagging in the back of your head knowing you should probably do quests is no longer there. Now, it has been replaced with arch mysteries and achievements! Lol it's always something, but quests are just the bane of my existence. So glad I'm done. Back to your video, I agree with some of your points for real, but some I'd say are a bit weird. Some of others I'm neutral so i'll just point what i agree or not here: Agree on: - Necro making things easy and braindead made me go stale too - Masterwork weapons need a spec/passive, but I just hope PvM drops are still miles better. - Some bosses in this game are ASS. but that's personal opinion, and we're lucky to have so many options tbh. - Jagex usually focus in one part of the player base at a time, and that sucks. - Pushing yourself in pvm is THE BEST THING you can do to enjoy the game. If you only do certain boss, at a certain level with the same style over and over, it gets boring no matter how much you like it. Disagree: - MWB is only worse than Nox because of price, It is LIGHT YEARS ahead in everything else, since NOX has no passive or good spec. For 400m~ish, its VERY good since Range is the most expensive BiS in the entire game. - Skillers getting content is the best thing for longevity, for ages post EoC PvM'ers got the majority of the content in the game, even skilling rewards are combat focused when most of player base don't even PvM. Overall: - RuneScape gets boring if you do only one thing or the other for too long. This include skilling, bosses, minigames, achievements, anything at all! However, after 20+y of updates, something this game def isn't lacking is content. It only may have content you don't wanna do it, or you don't like it. I'm a comp player, and I still feel like there's an enormous amount of stuff to do, bosses to grind. The way the top 1% players play the game doesn't translate to you being forced to do the same! Wanna enjoy more zamorak? don't phase skip or push high enrages, phase 7 is challenging but learnable! Find yourself a duo, maybe a group of friends willing to do PvM with you and it makes anything a lot better. I only got maxed and i m heading for master max because i figured i can fully afk almost all skills in some way or another- especially after i trained my dog to click specifically, this is what it is, a game that my dog can play...I sincerely believe that most of us play it as a nostalgic response to our childhood, as an adaptation to the lost environment that our childhood had. I feel you on a real personal level. I find that I hop on do a boss kill maybe 2, log off. I just get so damn bored playing now, I chase that old nostalgic feeling but I just can't get it. Your concerns are valid but these are the concerns of a higher level pvmer (not pvmers in general) who has completed all of the bosses. Jagex said they would be able to develop more challenging bosses when the pvm skill level increases across the board. That's kinda why we have necromancy

I quit after they retconned the lore for diversity reasons, came back to see new bosses and necromancy here and there only to realize the quality has drastically lowered. From art direction to the new story to gameplay, the quality has dropped significantly. RS3 is a ship of Theseus, the vast majority of the devs that made the game great despite terrible decisions like early access EoC or removal of free trade are long gone. What we have left are a bunch of blue haired activist types and diversity hires. You might think I'm being overly harsh and rude but the state of the game speaks for itself. RS3 might have one of the largest player bases it's ever had, but it has one of the lowest RuneScaper player counts in history. I know it's a touchy topic but it needs to be reiterated for the 1 billionth time, there is a reason OSRS is second only to WoW in player counts and RS3 doesn't even make it into the top ten MMOs. Passion for the game is absent from the developers. Love and respect for the IP and it's fans can't be found in a single executive. Profit and Social Politics runs RS3 and it's been killing it for years. I'm not sure if it can be saved, and frankly I'm not sure if it should be. RuneScape has held a unique place in the MMO landscape since it's inception. It has been unchallenged in its monopoly of the Sandbox MMO Genre, that was until OSRS came out. Instantly it lost the war, and instead of learning from their mistakes they doubled down. Beating the crying and injured RuneScape 3 until it went silent. An overhaul of the staff and design philosophy needs to happen, RuneScape 3 needs to be allowed to rest, and a reimagining not for a modern audience but for modern hardware needs to happen. Jagex needs to cut the diseased branches and capitalize on what made them great in the first place.
Yeah I hate the diversity for diversity's sake BS. If it has to do with the lore and whatnot, fine whatever, just make it tasteful. Too many companies are doing it just because some people said they weren't going to buy or use their products anymore if they didn't change. No wonder companies are reverting back their "DEI" guidelines. It shouldn't need to be stated in a video game that you're trans with scars or whatever TF. Video games are supposed to take you away from the real world. Also, wouldn't trans people just want to be their preferred gender anyway? I still don't understand that whole scar thing with vanguard or whatever it was.
The takeaway from the video for the most part seems to be idea that I just hate the game and pvm in general which isn't the case. There is a section of the video where I even talk about my experience with pvming and highlight some examples of things that are even fun for me.
