It's fun to talk about all this stuff, but these polls are meaningless until the first 2 or 3 games are played. As far as last year goes, had we beaten Oklahoma State (as we should have) and Oklahoma (which we could have if you remove "that one play"), the tone of the discussion this pre-season would be different.

As hopeful as i am, BYU was picked to finish in the bottom in football, last year, and unlike basketball, that's what happened. Definitely need to show better

This is about right. They still have ARod so no improvement there. For the defense, this is a HHHUUUUUGGGEEE sigh of relief thinking they only have to protect ARod for 4 games. If they win more than that, it'll be because the defense scored or gave the offense only 4 yds to score. Please let this be the last year we see Utah's (AR0d's) offense from a BYU team!!!!
