Excellent start on the PET restore!! Love the side by side view of the case clean up. Let me know about the missing key, I believe I can help you out with that. I love my 4032 and have a PET SD card so no need for a floppy drive. Looking forward towards your next video! Thanks for sharing the fun!

Thanks Rudy! I should already have a key incoming but I will let you know if that doesn't happen. I am trying some rust stain removal on the plastic as we speak, I'll know how its working in the morning!

Sweet. Can't wait to see how this old PET turns out. Not sure if you have seen it before but I have had great success with a product called Iron Free. It is made for car wheels but man does it do a number on rust on most surfaces including plastic, polished metals, painted surfaces etc. I had a rusty A500 and an IBM PC and it destroyed the rust. You can buy it on Amazon.

Thanks Racer X! I just got a product called Fertan that came highly recommended by someone on the VCF forums. If it does not work I will give Iron Free a try!

I surely will Matt. Some parts will be from my current parts but some will come from eBay if I have to and DigiKey if I can.

Thanks Mondo! Honestly I get a lot more satisfaction from a serious restoration than I do from a simple repair.
