Hawtin is for me in a tiny group wich delivers something special emotionally... such as painted art... yea you can print the masterpieces, even in high quality, but if you see the original live... its different and you understand why its so special ,unless you arent ready to understand
47....i saw the logo 30 years ago on a CD and grab it.....after that ....nothing was the same...im still love,it! Thanks Richie and greetings from Germany
When you don’t introduce the snare for the first time until the 6 minute mark, and the track isn’t boring, that’s when you know you’re onto a good thing…
One of the best albums ever. I bought it 30 years ago and last year my wife bought me a record player. So nice to listen to all your old classics. Minus Orange is my all time favorite techno track.
This album has set the mark for acid techno, was my fav' album back in the days been a vinyl dj for more than 30 years but in every set I play I always put a couple of plastikman choons. This album is legendary thanks Ritchie
Remember hearing Plastikman for the first time cruising around in my car late one weekend night on the late great John Peel Show, I was thinking f#ck me this is too good, went out and bought the album the next weekend, been listening ever since. Wow 30 years though, makes me feel old.
After all this years, Always one if the best sound in my oreilles. Glad to sée you one Time in live in Strasbourg in 2001 ( or 2002 ) Thanks for your Art.
Having the front cover of the CD look like 4 sheets of acid was some ingenious marketing. It definitely got people talking about Sheet One, pthat’s how I originally heard about Plastikman when I was in High School.
Bought the cd in '94. Lots of memories associated with every track. That moment when one of these got played at 5am .. the party was going deep when a sheet one track dropped. 👾
Thanks for the upload! Being a bit new to your music, it's awesome to get to listen to some of your classics, and classics they are, even upon a first listen!
Richard this lp means so much to so many of us. If it were rock music… this is Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy it’s the techno equivalent To stand the test of time
I bought this CD new when it came out. I appreciated the minimalism then, and do even more now. I remember seeing Kurt Loder on MTV news saying some kid got arrested because the CD cover looked like blotter paper! That is how I discovered you and sought out Sheet One. 👽👍🏼
After years of not listening to this album straight thru, I'm finding myself mezmerized and enchanted just like the first times listening to it. Richie captures a certain blissful vibe that is not easy to do in so many ways, but he has the IT factor for doing it again and again. It also makes my brain think about the music that Stephen Bodzin makes. There are some emotional parallels between the two, interesting. It's a sweet pocket to lay in for a bit.
My teacher at High School confiscated this album off me back in the day. They even called the Police as they thought the sirated album cover was acid.😂 I got a few days off school under a suspension for absolutely doing nothing illegal until the got it tested in a lab.😂 Mr Hawtin I will have my day in court.❤
Mi hermano y yo lo vimos en el 2016 en tulum, con su equipo de 10 personas y él en su trance musical viajando en el mundo real... Como su música saludos desde Méjico
I'M 52 AND STILL ENJOYING YOUR MUSIC, LIKE I DID ALL THOSE YEARS AGO. STILL FRESH 👊

Saw you in Portland Oregon around the year 2000’ amazing show!
Super classic! I was 16 when it was released. Still have the cd 😊.
Having the front cover of the CD look like 4 sheets of acid was some ingenious marketing. It definitely got people talking about Sheet One, pthat’s how I originally heard about Plastikman when I was in High School.
Anyone ever dip their original cd cover in anything good? It’s very tempting 😂
It even resulted in a guy getting pulled over by Police in Texas.😅

54 years old.. and saw him in Denver early 2000 w the Decks Effects and 909.. insane manipulations of sounds! This takes me back!

I'm 58 and still listening to your music. Greetings from Johannesburg South African
those magical high-pitched and sliding 303 patterns where very unusual in the early 90's. i only know two who did that often, Plastikman and Speedy J.
Gracias ❤❤❤
Thank you for your art. You’ve been an inspiration to many. PLUR

I see the forms of structure.. a call to sound thru sound. The single point of an end that began, again. Thank you Richie
SuperB
was 18yo back then, best bday present ever :)
Love it! My CD from that time has the cover made of "little LSD stamps" :D
Heck yeah mine too, I even have a perforated rave flyer for a Plastikman show from those days🤘💚. Tempting to dip it in something good.
Classic and futuristic. Awesome work!!
Still from the future, timeless, thanks for sharing Richie!
Seeing Ritchie grow is awesome and changing the landscape of sound. Do it for yourself.

An all time favourite that never grows old. Brings back memories of your sets at Slam / Pressure nights in Glasgow. Oh how we raved!
