I choose Suzuki Gixxer sf sp Because : 1. My Budget 1.5 L 2. I wanted a normal daily usage pickup and Troque with mileage, say in between 45 to 60 KMPL not less than that. 3. It should be comfortable for City as well as Touring 4. I preferred seat height to be of 770 to 790 mm. 5. I wanted Fuel Injection. 6. I wanted ABS 7. I wanted from a reputed Brand. Thank you.

The only problem I have with my Gixxer is the gearbox. Its not that smooth. Otherwise I have been enjoying it for 2 years. 😃
If you having gear shifting issue on Gixxer. use a longer metal rod which is connecting between gear lever and gear box shaft.
Use fully synthetic engine oil for Better riding quality and smooth gear shift .
That body is writing cheques the engine just cannot cash...

There are some common issues for gixxer sf : 1) bike lock issue. Bike may get automatically stopped. 2) front fairing around the head lamp may get crack mark automatically due to misalignment some internal parts underneath of it , 3) poor and thin paint job. Need to take special care 4) unavailabilty of bike wash service at authorized service centre due to Sunday/man power issue / machine not work .use of ariel for washing bike makes it dull in long run 5) refill tyre during servicing without checking existing tyre pressure. They usually refill tyre pressure with 45 in front and 55 in back which much higher than recommended 29psi front and 33 psi back. 6) delayment in bike registration , CF and insurance policy renewal due to man made reasons.
Yes i own it for Road grip and finest handling with punchy engine. Though the gearbox issue should b sorted out by Suzuki.

I would suggest you to go with Gixxer SF with ABS.,As the R15 v3 as of now doesn't have Abs
And I feel according to the need you mentioned, Gixxer SF suits you.,

hi all I have done 20,500 km on my access 125 and would like to give a real feedback. About my driving, I ride my scooty in a very relaxed manner all the time. The first problem arrived after 3 month's of buying was a bent in handle T bar, I thought it's a normal thing it can happen anytime coz of our country's roads, next thing I got to know about was a weard noise coming from gear box I went to service centre these guy's told me it's a manufacturing fault we will fix it and will not charge me anything I was like clueless, thinking myself am I made a mistake buying Suzuki product although they are a Japanese brand, things went smooth for some time and another problem arises engine oil leakage. My scooty engine oil level started dropping down this time. Again the service guy's were very normal saying that it's a normal thing, these engines usually face these kind of problems now and then I am really very SAD after the Suzuki experience. Very bad product. My thoughts are very clear with Suzuki now will never ever suggest someone to buy Suzuki 2 wheeler I doubt about there Bike's coz now a days they are manufacturing big bikes like Hayabusa in India don't know what they will do to it. Please some one from Suzuki Japan do the cross check what is happening in India. Don't spoil your brand image. Suzuki is launching his new scooter Burgman Street with the same engine so people out there please make sure you invest your money wisely.
I WAS A BIG TIME SUZUKI FAN EARLIER BUT THEY REALLY LET ME DOWN.

I own an sf. It gives me 44kmpl and I'm happy with my bike. So far so good. 😊only gearshift is clunky, but there is no false neutral issue with my bike bro.

You have to make review for hero xtreme sports, it even crosses 100kmph in fourth gear without trouble, and one of the fastest and value for money bike in it's segment

i have this bike from 2015..good sports bike bcoz of its fairing... and also obviously looks great with great mileage..some might say its an overpriced bike but r15 and cbr 150 is on expensive side..gixxer sf is affordable ..ya with same price I can buy apache rtr 200 4v or pulsar 200ns.. but that bikes doesn't look as attractive as gixxer sf.. its truth that fairing bikes looks more attractive than naked or street bikes..so ya if its overpriced compare to other 150 cc bikes like fz or hornet or hero or pulsar 150 cc bikes but its affordable then r15 and cbr 150..and I think cbr 150 is discontinued..so ya with extra price we get fairing on bike which is fair to pay for that ..I owned gixxer sf and i made some videos too..come might look at it..how I modified with lights and central lock..and in night it looks great..when I ride street bike no one looks at that..but when I ride sports bike..everybody looks at that.. that's the impression left by fairing bike on roads....

Griffin 17 there are many other things apart from power..no one is going to drive in 140 in a daily basis..gixxer looks cool more than 40 km mileage.. buttery smooth engine..great breaks...very less accidents recorded inspite of high sales ratio..so think before u buy the over powered Bajaj...Gixxer on any day a value for money bike..pulsar engines are not reliable as like Suzuki..

Selling mediocre bikes with high power engine doesn't mean that Bajaj is great..still pulsar stands first in recording more accidents..crap cheap Bajaj is always a garbage.. please don't compare it with legendary bike manufacturer's..still Gixxer tops the sales..inspite of Bajaj providing more power for cheap price..

Griffin 17 gixxer is copy of fz ? Bro go and check gsx s-1000 on which it is made well no fight between gixxer and ns as I own both, both are love for me but as you said gixxer is copy of fz it's not it's inspired from gsx s-1000 😊
