With different ores you need different types of tools. You tried to mine copper ore with wooden pickaxe, instead use cobblestone one and you will receive the drop as well. 😇

On the one hand, I'd be shocked if there wasn't a dragon somewhere in the Minecraft universe, but then again... The idea of a random cube guy fighting a dragon is pretty comical. Plus I dunno how a boss fight with complicated mechanics would play in this game? Then again, maybe it wouldn't be hostile. Flying around on a dragon friend would be pretty sweet!
There are actually a handful of 'boss' type enemies in the Minecraft world now, though the 'dragon' mentioned is seen as an end boss as it actually has some closure after the battle. Of course you can can keep playing after that, and indeed defeating it unlocks even more things.
Tbh it is pretty boring,but can be very entertaining with mods if your pc can handle it. Also playing with friends could be nice,but at least in my case they all find the game boring like me,and are kinda tryhards making farms so we beat the game quickly
You kill the sheep and they drop wool as well as food. If you do not want to kill the sheep, find iron with a stone pickaxe, smelt it with a furnace made from stone and make shears to shear them. *Btw I am commenting whilst watching, I am only half way through so idk wether you make those things*

That endgame realm with the dragon is literally called The End, you have to find a special portal to even get there, I’ve never been to it.
