The stand is awesome - you also need to make sure you don't loosen the 'key' too much or you could lose that as well.. Just things you learn as you go... The seat is surprisingly comfy - I took my sit bar off too.
I’m a climber guy, used multiple climbers over the past 20 years. I’ve never had a saddle setup but I can’t imagine a saddle and sticks being faster than a climber. Also at 11lbs it’s lighter than a saddle setup.
I agree, and saddle hunting seems like a lot of work, lol can't imagine doing that when it's 85 degrees. And all the gadgets you need, lot of room for error. That's just how I see it from my couch watching TH-cam videos lol
I like the stand I wish they would make a xl one for guys and gals that are over 250 but it sounds like they are not I hate when people come out with stuff aimed at one group
Nice review, and Lone Wolf does make good stuff, but you have to do a review on hunting seats too, especially the Ground Effect hunting seat by 03 Outfitters. Us older folks don't climb trees too much anymore.
@@N1outdoors I contacted 03 Outfitters and they should be getting ahold of you in the near future. Hopefully you'll get to do a review. They make an awesome seat.
I wish they could make one as comfy as my old viper summit but that weighs alot less..It's big and bulky but man is it comfy..I call it my lay z boy in the sky and I sit sunrise to sunset .. Great review
for $1,000 this climber shouldn't be leaving the warehouse until each one has been tested and gotten through quality control. I'm not paying a 1000 for a climber and worry about quality control. I want to get this badly but the minor issues and the price is now a problem. They should also make a cover for the teeth. I may still pull the trigger but im skeptical now.

Just ordered one, thanks for the video. Been using the original sit & climb- never thought it could be improved. I can't believe I paid this much (ouch!), but this may be worth it.
@underdogoutdoors good to know, thank you, yes I was wondering about it being a bit small, I was thinking another pound of weight wouldn't hurt for a few inches of platform lol...happy hunting.

It really is a well-designed Stand. Thanks for watching!

It’s incredible how light this stand is.

Crazy light and slim profile. I never had any issues with mine this past fall.
It’s strange to think that the old Lone Wolf hand climber now seems “heavy!” 🤣
Maybe a little felt where the stand sticks together as you loosen the key
That’s what we ended up doing and it works fairly well.
Excellent review!
Thank you for watching!
Great review! What kind of bow holder are you using? It looks like it folds out of the way nicely.
It’s actually the one that you can purchase directly from Lone Wolf. It is definitely slick. Thanks for watching!
Can you tell me what the four extra straps on the back pack straps are for ? two on top and two on the bottom with loops on the ends thanks
Not exactly sure. Probably just for other gear.
Looks like you have the strap on the top half of the stand that goes around the tree backwards.
That’s actually how it’s designed on this new stand. We thought it was strange as well.
When the builder building this stands, he is very sleepy and building it wrong. It will be very slippery for sure.

Looks nice - definitely think the original hand climber seat was fine and looks better than this.
The original seat does work well. This seat seems to just eliminate some extra weight. Thank you for watching!

Yes, it's hard to beat the comfort of those Summit stands!
Mine has a problem with the screws on the platform too.
Contact them and they will address👍

You might want to take a turpentine cup to attach to the base of the tree when you leave. Man those teeth are serious.
They are scary sharp!
It's not the best stand.
