- I put it at the beginning of this video already, but I just wanted to say thanks for the overwhelming support on the BLITW series so far. I really didn't expect them to get the attention that they did, but I really do appreciate all of the kind words :D

I tried adding the weather report evidence sliding on/off screen as a custom character thing, and the first time around, I pretty much broke the whole thing, the backgrounds/characters weren't loading properly-- and I think it had something to do with the amount of frames I used for the animation of the "character" because after reducing the amount of images in the "pose" animation (and scrounging a bit of broken backups and rewriting several frames of the objection.lol), it worked fine. (kinda)
All things considered, this video didn't require too many custom things, mostly because we're getting into more of the objective "case" parts of BttT. However like I mentioned, I did make a "custom character" in making a piece of evidence go into the Court Record (worth it /s).
I think I neglected to mention it on the last BLITW video (and will edit the description accordingly) but the Psyche-locks thing is also a custom character by Gosha (the character code is: XEOQWE)

On another note, while I don't mind comments that are suggestions on the direction that I'm taking BLITW, please don't DEMAND that I do it a certain way. (So far the comments I've gotten so far have been pretty respectful, so don't worry too much about any currently existing suggestions.)
This is more so a reminder that I am one person making pretty much everything on these videos-- the writing, the thumbnails, custom backgrounds (and Parham Mettick, lol).
I'm here to "rewrite" this case into a story that gives the characters more time to feel things out and reflect, particularly Larry. The suggestions/requests I've gotten so far have been great and I do appreciate them as they are now-- but I also don't want it to become a norm for a bunch of people asking for one thing or the other (I mostly worry about getting conflicting requests/suggestions because I'm a people-pleaser pfpff :'D)

The non-flanderized Larry concept is honestly great here, especially considering how clutch he was in 1-4
I will never understand why the writers took Larry's character in the direction that they did-- this man had so much room for emotional growth and they just decided ✨no
@@TheTrueTurtlegirl him and Gumshoe both honestly. Dude’s a solid detective in game one, if maybe a bit of a goofball. But by the time we get to JFA he’s pretty much treated like he can’t do anything right. My man literally clutches at least one case per game he’s in though. Saves Phoenix’s ass in 1-3, clutches the vital evidence in 2-4 (even if he wrecked his car and gave it all to Franziska) and put in a lot of the leg work for 3-4 as well. Not to mention how he literally lost his job during 1-5 because he believed in Lana and genuinely wants to help the fight for justice. Both the characters were done dirty by 3-4 in my opinion.
@@vonBoogaloo yes!!! justice for Gumshoe! the salary cut thing was kinda funny at first but instead of resolving it and making him and Miles have a better relationship as part of Miles' character development, they made him out to be a complete idiot and sent him into actual deep poverty like wtf was that? he deserves so much better😭

They make him competent and useful for most of the cases

I kind of wish that when Edgeworth was defending Iris, Larry would be co-counsel, he give like non sensical advice but then he'd give advice to him that Edgeworth just plays off but it actually works
Honestly I might make that a separate video once I can properly finish off canon BLITW-- because at this point I also really want to make that a thing now that people have suggested the idea of Larry being a fill-in co-counsel
I LOVE THIS SERIES SO FAR !!!! i always thought that larry had lots of potential as a relatable yet silly character, but the game shed that light on him. this series perfectly captures what larry could be as a character without it not being larry (idk if that makes sense or not) !!!!
That makes total sense :> Larry always had great potential to be a comedy relief character, but they took Larry's character in an AWFUL direction. Which is unfortunate, because Phoenix in the very first game even set up the pretense of "I know better than anyone, that he's a good guy at heart."
So yeah, Larry deserved more love from the writers. I still don't understand why they did him so dirty.
Bro Larry and Gumshoe are more similar than I remember. And I love how Edgeworth just hates them and wants to kill himself (but he secertly lovs them).
He doesn't hate them, he just loses significantly more patience around them! /lh
But yeah, I liked the idea of Larry and Gumshoe interacting more person-to-person (and the idea of Gumshoe constantly getting Larry's name wrong pfpff)

Give Miles strengh and patience to deal with Larry and Gumshoe. I like the way how these two interact... i mean, they have their habits and quirks but they are fitting and I can understand that Larry wants to help but maybe he himself didn't believe what he saw because it's so damn surreal that he seems so non-cooperative in helping plus his emotional damage about Elises death and the almost death of Phoenix is hitting him again and again.
But Edgeworth takes hin "new job" very serious, even if he said that relying on a statement based on belief is not his way to work on. But he believes in Phoenix, so... this is really something, right?
Me when I give already emotionally constipated Ace Attorney characters MORE emotional turmoil /hj
When something smells its usually the Butz. Thank you for making a part 4. I like to touch on something with miles as defense attorney. Originally, that was his real dream so for him to actually do it even temperaily must have meant something though I wish the game made it sound like he had more doubts about it. He was raised by Von Karma so it is only natural he would think can I really do this? Larry usually hides something especially if he thinks he or someone he knows can get hurt. Let's find out when part 5 comes out. It's all up to you Edgeworth.
He'll definitely be thinking about his father during the investigation, yes.

Thank you kindly! And yep, Larry could have been a much more important part of the investigation in the actual game. I also thought it would be nice to throw in little bits of his friendship with Phoenix and Miles (because AA really doesn't flesh that out at all pfpff)

Another amazing video! The writing is amazing and continues to only adjust things whilst keeping everyone in character! I think I'm aware of which line of dialogue you're talking about-- I do plan to incorporate some of the dialogue from Maya's presented profile, so I suppose may as well include Pearl's.
I did want to dial back the Gumshoe abuse a little bit for BLITW, but I think I'll still try to include the humor of that dialogue to some degree--
