Fun show guys. I can see the reason why position depth should be examined, but I still think the bullpen should be the primary focus. I was really intrigued by the Spencer Turnbull idea that got floated last week (?), it would possibly give the Cards something they lost when they refused to sign Kitt. Man, I really wanted Kitt back!
Addition by subtraction. Fans are more open to seeing the future at this point than overpaid free agent signs that just get us by for one season. Donavon and Nootbar not settling for arbitration or resigning does not make me sweat at all.
Who do you think the Cardinals will let go before spring? I hope they use their brain and not their heart. Let Carp go because it's past his time. We don't need a veteran on the bench who can't hit or field.
Ramon Laureano or Austin Hays makes the most sense as RH bats off the bench that can hit LHP and platoon the OF. I love Bader, so I wouldn't be mad lol! I don't want any new utility IF, we already have plenty of youngsters for that role in my opinion!
With an Arenado Trade, I don't think Donovan would start at 2nd. Would be in Left Field. 2nd would be Saggese. 3rd would be Gorman. I got Noot going to Center. Starting Lineup of: 1. M. Winn, SS 2. Br. Donovan, LF 3. I. Herrera, C 4. W. Contreras, 1B 5. Al. Burleson, DH 6. Nootbaar, CF 7. Jor. Walker, RF 8. N. Gorman, 3B 9. Tho. Saggese, 2B Bch. (only 4 Spots): P. Pages, C; Ry. Vilade, Util. (one they got from the Tigers off waivers); Ma. Koperniak, Crnr. OF / DH; Siani, CF ONLY Spot that I could see them want to maybe consider a repl. player vs. who's planned for right now is that Util. player (currently slotted as Vilade.)..............good question as to who that could be. Wh. Merrifield? Did get 44 R's Scored & 17 SB's on the Phillies & Braves last season. Can play 2B, 3B, OF. Maybe, Hampson - know absolutely ZERO Power.
@@cjisawesome3686 I'm not so sure. Turnbull looks to be around 2 mil while Brebia looks to be closer to 5 mil, at least according to Spotrac. Not sure if I'd wanna pay that for a guy that had a 5.86 ERA and a FIP of 4.82 last year. Turnbull had an ERA of 2.65 last year, and a FIP of 3.85. Will he regress this year? Probably a little. But for a one year deal of 2 mil, I think they take the risk. Edit: *could* take the risk.
I dont c them signing much the roster and rotation is almost set an still trying to move arronado but if he stays we'll b more of a contender hes bttr than gorman arronado Burleson an contereas can all b 30 hr hitters the bench is deep baker scott fermin sagesse pages we need another veteran relief guy and to move either mikolis or matz that's about it !! We are a potential playoff contender folks we were only a few games out last yr its not a bad thing let's go
I get there’s nothing to talk about😂But I feel like it’s pretty obvious nobody is getting signed to the cardinals free agent wise so what’s the point of these videos? Let’s talk about the prospects we have instead of something that’ll never happen
A Band-Aid on cancer is not going to compete or move the dial enough for Cardinal Nation. We can get guys like this and compete with the Pirates for last place. Just be patient...
@@chrisweidner4768 Arenado still had a .272 Batting Average. You Fail go see that. Gorman is Overrated, and Strikes Out too much 😡. Arenado is a Defensive Beast 😌😒!
I think it was really dumb to hang on to Mo after the announcement Chaim will take over in a year. What possible incentive does Mo have to try improve the Cardinals? And I think he and DeWitt are upset with the fans for lower attendance. Rather like, we'll show them and call it a reset.
No more Harrison Bader. Why do the Cards want bad hitting players. They are cheap and unwanted for a reason. The Cards already have easy outs in Siani Walker,Scott, Pages, Herrera and Gorman.
Unless these players are league minimum forget them. We are rebuilding not looking to win a World Series. If we’re going to rebuild, STICK WITH THE PLAN.
You don't say any good about Nolan all I hear is how he has fell off as a player he ,s to old he,s at end of his career an so on.then you want someone to trade for him give me a brake
Its time to make new fan favorites, not bring them back.

Bring Back Bader. His enthusiasm on the field was always fun to watch.
Luke Voit had a .945 OPS in the 2024 Mexican League after opting out of a Mets minor league contract last year.

Carp is gone. He was on a one year deal and they did not renew it.

One of the depths is called the abyss.........
Nolan’s going to go on a tear this year.
My position player free agent wants: Kevin Pillar CF, Harrison Bader CF, Jose Iglesias IF
Just get a couple good BP arms. we got plenty position players

Need to Focus on the Bullpen maybe John Brebbia, Ryne Stanek, or Adam Ottavino. Need Cheap Bullpen Arms 😌!
I agree! I really liked the Spencer Turnbull idea that got floated here, too.
@icaleinns6233 Turnbull is Gonna be Expensive. He can Start and Relieve in the Bullpen. Just bring Brebbia Back 😌!

Just Crush the Arenado rumors too. We Need a Veteran hitter besides Willson Contreras 😒!
Indeed, and a 3rd baseman who only hit 16 HRs is not what we need. I would like to see what Gorman could do there.

@ No disagreement. Hoping he is getting fixed as we speak. We could also play Donovan there.

you know this host ,JD Hafron is as bad as his guest. we don' need servicible past 136 aveg. hiting bumb , never been any thing players.

Why would we want Bader back? We've become such a joke.
St. Louis need to dump Cardinal way killer. ( Jo Mo) Dewitt won't sell the team so were stuck with him. Oliver doesn't even count.
the cardinals should not bother fielding a team this year. wait till mozelack and the so called manager are gone. this season will be a waste.
Hit the road
