    I had 10kg (22lbs) to lose and thanks to all your videos and instructions i lost all the weight just in 1 month of alternate day fasting . lost around 2.5 kg (5.5lbs) every single week continuously .
    im now standing at 74kg (163lbs)and feel the best I've ever been .
    To maintain the weight loss im now doing one salad meal and one normal meal daily and I feel great.

    Colleen, I love this video! It is so true and enlightening. It is exactly why I lost 70lbs. I wanted to be healthy and sexy, before I turned 60 and I did it just before I turned 59, this past May! I was small, most of my life (a size 3 till age 35)I got married at age 36 and had my our daughter at age 40. I got up to 200lbs at age 57 and got frustrated. I was fed up, so on Feb 1, 2022, I took action. I have walked everyday since then, and started working out in March ( every other day). I had stared intermittent fasting the year prior, but kicked it up and, and I eat healthy. All of this is my new way of life. I and healthy, no meds and I now weigh 130lbs, and maintaining. I will be 60 years old in May, 2023! You are a delight to watch! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

    2 weeks in I lost 7lbs. Week 3 I lost nothing but I’m sticking with it because I feel good! My skin is looking good, my cravings have subsided, my discipline has increased across different areas of life, I’m making better food choices by default & everything taste so much better on feast days 😅
    The race is not for the swift, but for the one who endures. Endure.

      According to Chris James (A Healthy Alternative on TH-cam), Week 3 is the Shrink Week, when we don’t lose weight.
      He is SO right.
      I think his whole channel may be about fasting.

    I don’t weigh myself because if I do, I might just eat everything and give up. It’s been working for me and I’m surprised how consistent I am with ADF! Thanks for the amazing video ❤

    This is the longest I have ever stayed consistent with ADF and won’t give myself an excuse to eat. It’s been 10 days and the pattern is getting easier. I’m serious about reaching my goal but this time I want to focus on what I do once I reach it to I don’t gain it back but I’m taking it slow and not giving myself a hard time yet about what I do on feast days because I tend to be too strict then fall off because it’s too hard

    I go by measuring my bust, waist and hips...very motivating! ❤ stared last Friday and I'm down 5 1/2 inches in my waist alone! 😊

    This is so real thanx colleen. I was over weighing my self i realized the weight was not going but to my suprise physically the size of i looked so different and people started noticing my weight loss.

    😩 Yea- I’ve done all of these and have felt discouraged after not seeing any more weight loss. Sometimes work gets in the way and then I over fast. I’m definitely going to prep food. That’s really my downfall is not having meals prepared for when it is time for me to eat.

    I’m on day one and honestly the first thing I’ve noticed is how much time I have to creatively plan for a good meal that’s both nutritious but also fufiling. I love it because one of my struggles is not knowing what to eat and immediately opting for something convenient. During the last hour of my fast I am planning, preparing, actually COOKING the meal. This is great.

    You say many true things. Focusing on the weight reminds me of Goodhart's Law which states: “When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.” In other words, when we set one specific goal, people will tend to optimize for that objective regardless of the consequences.

    This video is EVERYTHING Collen. I was just about to say I never thought about my Why? And boom you said it, when I saw your first ADF video I told myself is my LAST resort I’m fed up with my weight and my health and I’m not even 30 yet. Thank you for this.I’m still weak in the prepping part because I usually go bananas on feast days simply because I don’t prep my meals but I still
    Manage to lose close to 30lbs in 4 months. Also I tend to wait until 2 pm the next day on my feasting day when I get so busy.

    I’m guilty of the scale thing.
    For this pass week I had an issue with my digestive system. My long term desire is to eliminate the medications my doctor has me on.
    I realized I needed to eat healthy; vegetables, fruits and water my daily water intake. I’ve come to the conclusion that my system isn’t digesting certain meats properly, therefore, I monitored what meat gave me energy and which meat slowed my body down.
    Your words of “Do not fast the next day, if you cut your fast day short.”

    I always look at myself undressed in the mirror before I weigh and remember how satisfied I am with what I see before I look at the weight on the scales which as we all know, is Never low enough!

    My why is, I have early onset of arthritis on my left knee. Going strong this time. Sticking to 36-40 hour fast. When I feel the pain,reminds me to keep going😊

    I’ve really been appreciating your vlogs. I lost 20 lbs several years ago but after lockdown I gained 10 back and It’s been so hard to lose it. Especially since I’m approaching 41. I purchased Bloom Greens and the bioptimzers. I’m doing omad right now but I’m down 4lbs in the last 3 weeks. Thank you so much for putting this info out.

    Wise words, Colleen Marie! I self sabotage whenever I start to lose weight. ADF is sometimes not enough when you may need counseling for an eating disorder! I’m sick of myself & need to be really fed up of my progress. yep! Regardless, I continue to try, no giving up! Kisses for your adorable sons.😍🌺

    Thanks for this cider, I do get flustered every time I get on the scale. I try to go over a week, but fail at it. I'm going to get back to the adf . I felt great when I was doing it. I'm tired of what I see in the mirror. It feels like I have no control. Need tk be in control again. Great video as always my sis. Love your energy

    I'm a scale addict. But I learned from my previous mistake and I'm not letting it run me off course this time. I don't belive the "starvation mode" thing because that's too airy fairy for me and because it made me fear any form of diet for years but totally agree with sticking to a pattern, a routine ie consistency and not overeating on non fast days of course! It can't but work! Thanks to Rachel Sharp for getting me started on this journey. Ps. I fast for 36-40 ADF and I have noticed results in inflammation which I didn't expect . I had aching joints in my arms that was lingering around for 6 months or more and now its gone after 1 month of ADF 36

    I just over fasted this weekend mostly out of laziness and it stalled my weight loss a bit. I believe because I was under eating. So I picked up my intake.

    How much water do you drink each day whether fasting or not. I’ve been trying to find this answer but no one seems to address the amount of water intake

      It’s important to only drink as thirsty. Drinking too much will dilute sodium levels making you easily fatigued and weak. If you’re thirsty, drink. Do not go above and beyond your thirst level.

    I was struggling with the ADF. Not very hungry on feed day and hungry the other day. So I changed my protocol to every 12 hours. It's more manageable for me cuz my sleep/work schedule Is so irregular. How does it affect autophagy and fat/carb burning mode? My biggest "Why" is to minimize chronic pain...

      12 hours is a great starting point and practice lengthening it every week. Optimal fat burning hour is 20 + hours

      @@colleenmariet Will do... Thank you so much! I'm also (and always have known) that I am an emotional eater (literally only hungry when I'm happy/sad, otherwise I forget to eat.) This is a tough month (lost my mom 9 years ago... And had PMS cravings, plus the annual company breakfasts/lunchs/extra goodies...) Emotional roller coaster!!! Anywho, I was doing so well at first, and didn't want to fall completely off the wagon lol! If I'm struggling, a can easily do the the 12hrs and then work my way up to maybe 12/12/24? Does that make sense? Eat at 12hrs, then 12hrs, then 24 hrs. That's my new goal. Will that work? Again, thx so much!!!

    Went keto, easily lost 40 pounds in 2 months...too much, too fast because I lost muscle mass and at that time I was 68 and losing muscle mass was bad. Eventually I regained 10-15 pounds, some muscle, but I've gone carnivore & lost the weight again, but not the muscle. I'm also doing ADF now, 36-40 hours and it's not hard. My food costs have been cut as well. No veggies, no fruit, no problem.
