+Paul Tempels yeah I got a bit excited on the multi review😂 T120 ride to come, and will try and get a ride on the KTM super adventure and super duke GT. Will also be doing a full review on my bike
Another good review Shaun. I do like the Explorer but prefer my R1200GS; lower centre of gravity, grunty boxer engine and better controls all round. Just took mine on a 1200 mile trip through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany at the weekend; bike performed superbly, only disappointment was the rain in the Ardennes which prevented me enjoying the roads to the full. Cheers, Andy
The GS is a better bike Andrew! If I was to go all out adventure bike, then it would be the GS! Although I'm keen to get out on the KTM super Adventure.....I bet it awesome
+TheLikeableRider I also like the KTM, except that it's chain driven; personally I prefer shaft drive for maintenance free touring. Sat on it at Motorcycle Live and it was very comfortable.
+Andrew Tofts Had a sit on it at the Dortmund bike show, looks very nice! I'll try and get on it over the next couple weeks......price is a bit tasty mind!
I do love triumph, but like to try other bikes that deserve some of the spot light. Rode the T120 on the same day so watch out for that vid in a couple days.....that is is a beautiful bike
There must only be straight roads in England. I've watched 50 reviews on this bike and not one person has thought of riding it on a twisty road. That's the only thing I'm concerned with is how it handles. I don't care about electronic windscreens and heated seats, show a video of it in the twisty bits!
THIS is the bike I want and will be saving for. In red too! Nice review, just watch all the heavy breathing between sentences. Although, it may just be because the big bitch got you all worked up ;)
Yeah I use quite a sensitive mic so I can't good audio while ridding, unfortunately I can sound fairly hot and bothered, when off the bike😂😂 thanks for watching
oefff that white BMW at 4:06 wich is comming backwards.... ;-)
well spotted! had him in view, and was ready for him to pull out. Wasn't too bad as he would have seen the car in front of me
:-) Another nice review!! keep up the good work. The Multistrada review is a killer! :-)

Cool review. Like you said about the red...
Yeah it's not the nicest colour

+TheLikeableRider Look forward to your review Shaun👍
Just went up the local KTM dealership (if you can call it that) more like a farm yard, What a fecking dump! Won't be testing ridding anything there.
Your a Triumph man at heart !!!

Dare I say it.....if I was to get an adventure bike, then it would be the GS for me! although I love the explorer, the GS has the edge for me
I'd go with the explorer! Find the 800 under powered
the 'edge' being the badge on the tank??
It may have a slight edge, but not enough for me to pay another four grand and twice the maintenance.
The water boxer? I have an oil cooled ('08) and while it's a great bike, my Tiger 1050 is much faster. That's why I'm looking at the Tiger Explorer.
holden caulfied
the explorer us definitely a mega bike

The only problem is the lack of a quickshifter.

yeah would have been nice!
Agree with the GS being better Triumph are expensive on service so may as well go BM. Triumph Tiger Sport best looking bike but didn't like RBWire
I like the RBwire, the throttle on my TS was so hard along with the clutch, I'm glad they've soften them up
THIS is the bike I want and will be saving for. In red too!

Xrt is top off the range
thanks for the info mark
XRt is top for the alloy-wheeled bike. XCa is top for the spoked-wheeled bike.
