I see in a few years time when your son is older you will have a apprentice working with you. Until then he can learn lots and have fun with his dad around vehicles. I grew up around vintage race cars and when I was about the same age as your son I started working in the pits for my father. Now I’m 21 and I will start my new job as a apprentice mechanic for my local shop. Your videos have really inspired me to work on regular vehicles and I know I can always go back to vintage race cars but I’m really looking forward to the new chapter in my life. Thank you so much for being a lovely person and I have learnt a few things I didn’t know about modern cars.

You may want to drop the steering rod or sway bar to install the Cummins, also the Cummins is taller . If it is a 5.9 12/24 valve make sure you can access the valve covers.

You may want to unbolt the master cylinder when installing the Cummins. It seemed to be in the way when you brought that engine out. Any small advantage would be great when stuffing that tall engine in there.
If Westin Champlin can stuff a 12 valve in a Mustang and a Ford truck, this should be easy.

Lol GM does that with their washer nozzles. They shoot out from the wipers. Just make sure you not standing on the passenger side of the vehicle because that's the direction the nozzles shoot in. Tesla also does this and I only know because I attempted to replace wipers on a Tesla at my parts job (I forget which model cause I didn't care to take a mental note) but certain models of the Tesla needs model specific wiper blades cause the way the arm is designed generic wipers will not fit.

I always thought Detroit was a far better Diesel engine manufacturer than Cummin's? In my experience working on Diesels generally Detroit Diesels never break down whereas Cummins on the other hand don't exactly hold up quite as well. Even the old worn out 2 stroke Detroit's will run circles around a Cummins engine. But whatever
