I'm conflicted. At the same time it's the most entertaining part of the videos and the comments section about them are glorious, but I despise them coming to Australia and ruining the place.
Jerry paid $500 over the Carsales online offer for the Mercedes and didn’t even try to play games with the girl with the VW. He advised her to go back to VW Brighton and try to get the $47k. Both situations seem quite reasonable to me .
5:45 he took out a big car loan to buy a car to impress his future wife? and now has an upside down of -$9,000 ($12,000 - $21,000) 8:28 within two years?
the last lady was lying, unfortunately you just have to not respond negatively and take it at face value. The dealership might be able to pay a bit more because they will sell as approved used and dealer warranty which increases the sale price for it. But not by almost 10 grand. They overexxagerated their quote and got stung.
Majority of car buyers from early 2022 to late 2023 are upside down on their loan. bought a brand new 2020 Wildtrack at 57k was originally 67k a couple of years later i can sell it for 60k lol crazy times!
Now the real reason why he doesn’t ask what you paid for your car is so you don’t calculate the massive difference in price for the offer you will be receiving from him
Why would any good business man care what you bought it for, a smart businessman only cares what it’s worth now or what people are willing to pay for it
that Indian guy amazes me he owe $21k u offer him $12k or so he better to keep the car once u drive it out the yard $8 lost straight away try sell it back say gudbye that money cars now are hard to sell as everyone want s anew car also
He’s mentioned numerous times that he needs “to make” around $5K minimum on a car, there are loads of overhands / expenses running a used car dealership 😉
He mentioned $5000 each car at least. But if jerry has to repair the car and service it, he adds $2000 to get his money back. On top of that he has to spend his own money to - rwc -car service is needed - tyre replacement if needed - brakes replacement if needed Etc..
I don’t believe any of this sales talk !!!!! This is so hard to watch, seeing these people get these prices !!!! Why would ANYONE sell their this way !!!!! ???? Sell your own car for the same as this guy is going to sell your car for tomorrow !!!! You are ripping yourself off !!!!!
Not everyone wants to go through the hassle of selling their own car privately (RWC, dealing with time wasters etc.) and are prepared to accept a discount on the price of their car in exchange for the convenience of immediate cash in the bank provided by a dealer .
@@brent001….Maybe you need to educate the thousands of people who go to a dealer to sell their cars . Obviously in your opinion they are lazy and stupid. And also show them how to sell their car for the same price as a dealer when as a private seller they don’t provide a warranty or are covered by the same regulations as a car dealer .
@ I don’t think they are lazy and stupid maybe you do ??? I just dont think ANYONE gets a good price when they do this. You only get a fair market price when you sell your own car privately. Even you say you’ll get more selling privately in this video right ?
@@brent001.. it’s not my video. But hopefully you understand that any business that pays retail price for its stock will not survive . So if your basic message to the public is sell your car privately to maximise your price then that’s great, but if you are saying dealers are always ripping off the public on prices they offer then you don’t understand the basics of running a business.

For these types of people, $9k. For everyone else, $12k.
@harrylo2316 That consultation should of costed 2k.

8:32 Jerry being so kind lol. Mitsubishis depreciate like crazy, I'm sure Jerry knows that.
When she said that she didn’t want another new Volkswagen, I could totally relate. It’s a mistake that you only make once.
nice, we learn how to do business from you Jerry, very straightforward

Because he isnt miserable people struggling and stressing to save money.

Good point. But if you listen to some people it is only car dealers who don’t do the right thing and the general public is pure and 100% honest.
Great videos keep them coming , your very likeable
Far out! $19k 😂 they must have too much time or they think you got there by being stupid! Next time say YES!!! Just not in dollars 😝
The first stupid, is buying an ASX on finance with 500 down expecting you can break even when you sell. 🤣🤣🤣
I love your content well done brother 🙏
if you want good money.for your car.never take it to a dealer
he financed a used ASX with a $500 deposit?! bro 🤣
